Having survived her encounter with the ANMC (artificial Neo Mitochondrion creatures) at Neo Ark in Nevada Aya Brea returns to MIST ( Mitochondria investigation and Suppression team) and is set up with a new case. Little does she know that another plan for global infection with Neo Mitochondria are once again underway. A new lab has been set up in Antartica and Aya must challenge a new,deadlier strain of creature and once again stop the new Eve. Parasite Eve 3 would also see the return of the cyborg Golem soldiers whom would pose a bigger threat and also have a second playable character who would have no parasite powers but use powerful guns. Aya will retain her parasite powers from the second game and have extra powers such as Ice ray and Ultra Inferno. Also new weapons such as Rocket launcher, uzi and others. She can also hold two guns at once and will be able to access computer terminals and search bodies.
