Psyche Battle Story: (Present day) People with strange
psychic powers start to emerge and the government is trying to keep it
"hush hush". Telekinetic: Can form powerful balls of psychic energy (think transparent spheres, looks like the psychic push attack in "soul reaver") Pyrokinetic: Can excite molecules to the burning point (should see object start to get red and sparks coming off of it and then it ignites) Psychokinetic: Can move objects with one's mind (here is where people should have the most fun, the player should be able to pick up objects and send them flying at his enemy. The higher level you are the heavier objects you can pick up, also high level players can freeze their opponents in air and smash them with objects (think about freezes someone high in the air and sending a metal spike at them, or sandwiching them between two cars) Physical-mind fuse: The player goes in to a meditation-like state and is capable of super human abilities (like the kung-fu people do to break bricks,- but to the extreme). Illusion/mind-control: Can send false images to their opponent's heads misleading them, or freaking them out. Player can hide their appearance from the enemy's mind, by looking like a corner piece or coping their appearance to confuse the enemy. Alsow player can slow opponent perception of time and make time slowly move (this would be a excellent gameplay mode if pulled off correctly, it would rule to be able to make people see all sorts of stuff and do things like kill them selves by walking on to a cat-walk that isn't really there or shooting themselves. But I think it's effectiveness would decrease during multi player.) Phase'ing: Player can pass through solid walls and can teleport. (letting bullets and stuff thrown at you pass by) The player should be able to focus on one area can be very powerful in that area or be all-around but every player still has basic uses with all skills. The skills should be played out like rock-paper-scissors, by having certain skills be better use against others. EXAMPLE: a Psychokinetic player can simply lift a physical-mind fuse player so they can't do anything, but if they lift a Pyrokinetic they mite get fried on the spot. The game should be single player or massive muilplayer, or both. In single player: You play out the role of your character. The game should have many choices that you have to make like when you are confronted with government agents for the first time, will you let yourself be taken in or fight your way out. The should have at LEAST three ending, the person playing should be able to act out the way they want. Will you want to help your country?, Will you want to rule the world?, or something in between. You should fight many other psychics during the game each with their own powers. Muilplayer: I haven't really thought muilplayer through, but I just want to see HUGE psychic wars destroying cities. The terran needs to be deformable (like the coming Red Faction engine) because the powers need to cause massive visual impact on the world, like craters. When a player is powering up people, he/she needs to FEEL his/her power and go WOW! So when someone powerful is powering up it should look like characters powering up in the anime show Dragon Ball Z (if you are familiar with it). Rocks should start to hover into the air and shock waves should rip apart cement. The fighting system is kind of hard to put together, but I think the normal part of the game should be first person, but in a fight at anytime the player can freeze the game and enter into a menu where you can select what you want to do. EX: like I enter the menu, I click on an enemy and a submenu of attacks come up, I pick "disable", then I highland that street light and click smash, than click on disabled enemy. Then I can set in evasive maneuvers on what I should do between the attack phases. Finally I hit attack, and every thing is played in a cool scene with rotating camera angles and close ups and overall looks cool. Guns: Player should be able to use them when they don't want to spend Pci energy. But other psychics can easily (and cool'ly) avoid them. Power up drugs: (give them good names: scientific/slang term) Different drugs for different skills, boosts player's powers but insane factor comes into play. Swat team: Government troopers try to take you out, but they soon realize they can't match your power. Agents (suits): The government's secret weapon against psychics. They have un-human abilities . Other psychics: Other people like you. Player can choose to fight they or, for certain characters, join them. The character should start as part of the unpopular group in high school (player chooses how they are like). And gets ganged up on my the popular students and his rage explodes and he realizes his power. The player now make their first decision: destroy everyone or let them go (shapes his character to good or evil). Then the government seeks you out: either calls you out of class or snatches you at the mall (player can still resist and use his powers if he wants and wreak everything). The games music needs to be hard rock/techno just look at the matrix sound track for examples. Also it needs to be darkish (not night-time, outside should be day light mostly) but by no means have a "happy" game. Also please don't pull any punches when it comes to the violent factor I don't want a watered-down action game. I hope this game are excepted by a company and are made because I feel it would be an amazing game. Psyche Battle Game |
