I think a really cool game idea is Final Fantasy 8 Online. You would get to choose which Garden you want to study at, Galbadia or Balamb. When you first join, you would go through training to become a SeeD or a White SeeD. Once you become a SeeD or White SeeD, you would go on different missions. The battle system would be the same as FF8. Also, you would be able to get regular GF's, GF's from past Final Fantasies, evil GF's, or even a few new GF's. The triple triad card game would still exist, but there would be a bunch of new cards. One's from different Final Fantasies and different RPG's. If you do something really bad, like hit an instructor, you can be kicked out of your Garden and go do your own thing. You can also quit SeeD if you choose after you become a SeeD. However, you cannot quit the Garden unless kicked out. If you become a SeeD and then quit, you can have a very good chance of getting a different job in the FF8 world but just like in real life, if you quit the Garden you have a lot less chance of getting a job in the FF8 world.
