The game begins a long long time ago where a Dark Mage casts a spell on the world, turning all humans into helpless, tiny spheres. Mankind has lived this way for hundreds of years, and now a "chosen one" has arose to fight the descendents of the dark mage that started it all. His name is Zone. Now to the gameplay...

DD Battle is broken up into 5 sections. Three of them are actual game sections, as the huge quest is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, you control Zone. In the second, Zone is killed by his best friend and you can choose one of his children which you will have to control to fight the Agency, guardians of Prince Baddie. In the third, you will learn that the Agency has been trained by a group called the Slash ninjas, who happened to be trained by the descendant of the original Dark Mage: Apockalypse Slash. Apockalypse has the unique ability to turn into a dragon, and when he is defeated, the world will become normal again.

Another unique part of this game would be an Arena mode. In Arena mode, you can access almost all the characters (called DD's) you've met in the game and fight with them. The battle system (which is also present in the quest) has you controlling three DD's of your choice (out of around 10 PC's). It's basically a turn based battle, however, your characters can move freely. Each character has a regular attack, three specials, and one ultima combo.

The final mode is an Internet tournament mode. People will battle their DD's in tournaments. The winner of these interactive tourneys will gain a special prize, such as an Agent or Slash Ninja available in the Arena mode.

DD Battle would be available on an internet compatible next-gen console.

What if you made the Arena mode a 2 player VS mode, where you could battle it out with your mate just like in Tekken! What…? That was what you meant…you just forgot to write it? Ok, I believe you. I will reward it with a Discovery Boy…but I want half the credit =)
