Doomsday
Story:
You are corporal T. Stone (or some other name that sounds tough), and
you are the leader of a platoon of paratroopers. Your mission was to get
behind the first line of defenses by parachuting in, but a mistake in
coordinates results in many of your squad mates ending up all over Western
Germany. So, you, being the hero and all, must trek through Western Germany
looking for squad mates while gaining skills and experience. In the end
you have a huge fire fight with a platoon of elite forces and are airlifted
out of the country afterwards.
Gameplay:
This game is revolutionary because of the battle sequences merging with
the roleplaying themes. While you are exploring you can use a 3rd-person
view, but when the action starts to heat up, you can switch to first person
for better aim. Imagine that you are walking through a hilly region, and
it's foggy, but all of the sudden the silence is broken by explosions
and gunshots as tracer bullets fly overhead. Now this may sound good,
but it's even better when you learn that the encounters are completely
random! This means you would get a new experience every time you play.
The main focus though would be the AI. Instead of the 'human shiels' complex
that most squad members have in games, these will actually stick up for
themselves. And the enemy will be as dangerous as you are to provide more
of a challenge without making it too hard. Well, that's my idea. Thanks
for supplying such a wonderful site for amateur ideas to be posted in.

I'm glad you like the result of all the hard
work we have put into making this website, always good to hear that people
appreciated what we do. I don't think you will win the Hall of Fame with
this idea, but you got your message through, that's what's important.
