Gentle Dark RPG Game

STORY
The game is placed in Medieval times where wizards and dragons and goblins are more than enough.A war is brewing between your world and the Shadow Elves. They exist in a completely different realm,one of chaos and darkness.Their plan is to leave their home and inhabit yours by conquering it and slaying every living being that does not swear allegiance to them.Ancient legends of your people speak about six sacred spirits,each being the father of the world's elements:The Serpents of the Seas,the Storms,the Sun,the Shadows,Time and Death.All being called the Serpents later it is revealed that they are dragons,the most powerful of their kind.As a request from the king himself,your people were to search for these gods and ask for their aid.A devastating attack against your home,though,by the Shadow Elves utterly destroys every warrior and wizard.The hero was a simple soldier of the army against the Elves but his father was a powerful General,leading his men into battle.When all seemed lost though,the General with his dying breath used his last spell and teleported his son away from their home,telling him of his mission to find the gods they seeked.v
GAMEPLAY
Beginning the game,you have to create your character like a good,classic RPG. Choosing either male or female,race and all the basics.By choosing the hero's class will determine his or her main attributes(a fighter will have greater strength,a thief will be quicker on his feet,a mage will be more intelligent etc).This doesn't mean however that one will not be able to raise his player's abilities.For example a fighter could still be able to use a couple of spells but it would take him a lot longer to reach a high spell-casting level than it would take a wizard.Then again,a wizard would be able to use more lethal and barbaric weapons but would equally take a long time to raise his strength to use these weapons.

Each town or village the hero reaches will have some sort of equivalent to a battle arena.Either a gladiator tournament or a dark alley fight-to-win-and-collect-all-the-money betting place,the hero will have to enter these fights constantly as it will be the only way for him to get some cash in his pocket and a couple of experience points on his knotch.Nothing too extravagant though.Can't kill a dragon in a bet and suddenly become the most powerful and richest man on Earth,can we?

As he explores dungeons and caverns,the hero will fight random encounters but he will never find any money from these(except if he stumbles on an important treasure chest,of course).Battles will be turn-based.At the beginning of the game the player will have only one attack but as he obtains levels he will have not only get different kinds of weapon attacks but he will be able to make different combinations of the moves he has,for more hits.As for the magic of the game there would be both crystals and magic points involved.Simple spells would be symbolized by small words.When the hero learns a new spell(to be exact a new word)he would have to have an empty crystal,utter the word and the spell's magic would be captured in the crystal so as long as the hero carries the crystal and has a couple of MP,he would be able to cast it.But this way he could combine and create his own words.For example,if the hero combined the word of Cure Poison and Fire,he would create a spell that would protect him by fire.Then he would need an empty crystal to capture the magic so he may use it whenever he wants.

The character's movement will be in full 3D motion with enough moves (unfortunately,not like Lara Croft not even the nude move? -reviewer)to get him through difficult situations:traps,pitfalls, pools of acid and so on.However when a random encounter occurs,like most RPGs the player flashes to a wider battle scene with the same background, and hopefully kicks his enemy's evil-tainted butt.
