The New Evil
The New Evil is the first in a trilogy, which takes place 7 years
after Final Fantasy 8 left off, and is the prologue of the fateful events
that lie ahead for Squall and his fellow fighters of SeeD. Evil will rise
and the good will fall and past and present will merge forever, but will
Squall change what terrible future that lies ahead for the Earth or will
the evil forces at hand destroy the planet or in fact the whole universe
and dominate time forever with compression which Squall once faced.
The story starts when Squall returns from a meeting from the high-tech
city of Esther on the eastern continent of the planet. As Squall passes
the huge Trambia crater south of Esther a large grey/black portal hits
the surface of the crater like a non moving tornado. The huge whirl wind
of mist is right in the path of the train tracks which Squall's train
moves on, the train passes through the wall of the portal and at that
moment Squall heads to the front of the train and leans himself out of
the side of the drivers compartment and at that time the grey/black mist
has passed and reveals a large army of horsemen coming from the sky like
rain from a cloud. The numbers are great and Squall is in the path of
the landing horsemen which block his path, slowly the back carriages of
the train start to explode with passengers still in them, Squall immediately
jumps from the train along with the other SeeD members on the train who
are at the front two carriages. The rest of the group jumps out of the
train along with other surviving passengers. The army pass out of the
portal after a long time, and Squall and the others start to get very
afriad of what just passed into their world. Squall makes his way up to
the tracks and discovers 8 still bodies lying 300 yards away from him
one of which was quite large in size, Squall calls Irvine, Rinoa, Selphie,
Zell, Quistis, and Edea with his wrist communicator and tells them to
get to the site immediately. The Ragnarok passes and lands just barely
from slipping off the side of the tracks. Squall and the others approach
the bodies with their weapons drawn ready to protect them selves; Squall
then realises that there are 7 bodies instead of 8. Then at that moment
the missing figure springs from behind Squall with his sword at the ready,
he swings his sword and Squall ducks down away from the blade and then
gets ready to defend himself with the others with their weapons drawn
at the ready. The stranger introduces himself and we find out it is Cloud
Strife had passed along with Tifa Lockheart, Barret Wallace, Cid Highwind,
Red xiii, Vincent Valentine, Yuffie Kisaragi and Cait Sith through the
large portal. Cloud then tells Squall the reason why they have passed
through, and it was to do with the leader of the army whom he once fought.
Squall realises that the army must be stopped immediatly in order to keep
the Earth from remaining in the way it has been for millions of years.
Now Squall, SeeD and the Avalanche group must face one of the most powerful
beings in the history of Final Fantasy, but who is he?
The games fighting system was so unique that we have decided to keep it
the same, except for a new system which allows you to control the weapons
of Squall and Cloud, and also in some cases the others will too. The system
works if you want to build the strength, accuracy and also the experience
of the character. There is an option to change the fighting systems to
standard or new. The new system requires the two analogue sticks, the
left one is to pull back and push forward and the right is to swing and
to make any loose moves. The training centre will tell you how to use
the new fighting system and tell you all the new tips and tricks to becoming
a professional fighter.(The new fighting system is still in hard in the
thought of use.) The game will have a completely 3 Dimentional world and
also made to scale, and also new forms of transport, the Ragnarok, trains,
boats and also during the game you can use spaceships. The controls are
the same as Final Fantasy 8 and also the use of the analogue sticks. The
magic can be divided to allow you e.g. Ultima magic can go on your strength
ability and you can split it to also be on you elemental attacks or defence
and the magic can be divided as many times as you like. The weapons can
be custom made by you piecing together parts of other swords to make a
really strong one, you can also customise the swords look by making it
see through or with a certain colour or both. The gunblade has a gun on
it and can be fired in the new fighting system(Squall and Irvine only)
but if you run out you have to reload as fast as you can whilst you move
around. There will be all the G.F.s and summons from Final Fantasy 7 and
Final Fantasy 8 to allow every character in the games to have access to
one. The Final Fantasy 7 and 8 characters will have their original junction
systems from the original games to allow easy sorting out of magic, the
Final Fantasy 7 characters will have to divide the magic like the others
as there is now no materia in the time of Squall's existence.
THE EVIL EARTH

THE WAR OF PAST AND PRESENT

Mmm... tough one. You know, a trademark for
the ff games is that they are all different (except for elements like
the chocobo etc.). I think people grow a bit tired of the same characters,
especially since these games can be played for 150 hours+ each. But, hey,
maybe I`m wrong. Still, I prefer the materia system instead of junctioning,
just to have said that!!
