Ok, I have been getting bored w/ sims games and how unrealistic they are. Take the sims, sure you do all that stuff, but that's not how it is. I came up with an idea for a game that I am sure all kids, teens, college kids would buy. Here it is. You would start the game in the character editor screen. you can make a character look like you, or whoever you like. The people, or the game, wont have the super real graphics that others do. It would have a cartoony look to it, with big noses, goofy ears, things like that. Anyway, you will make your character and you will start at like age 13. Now is where the real life starts. You can choose to go to school. Say you do go, then you can choose to stay the whole day, or to pay attention or goof off in class. Or eat good or junk food during lunch. If you stay home you can pick what you do. Watch tv. play on the computer. But, as you get older, you will have to make more complex decisions. Whether or not to get a job. what to do with the money. You can buy a car, pick a nice one or a junk one. Buy a big system for it, or to spend it all on cigs and beer. You choose to go to parties, shave, everything. The game would go on all through life like this. You can make friends, or loose them. Everything you do will be based on life and everyday decisions. What would make this game fun is that you will choose the path that your characters life will take. You can make him a homless bum with no educations. You can have a wealthy guy with a college degree. Every single thing that you choose and do in life, will be put into the game. So, with all the options you get and all the things you can choose to do, you can pretty much play god over your character. Now, besides all this choosing, there will be real life motions. You can lift up your hat and scratch your head. Punch a hole through the wall if your mad. Throw stuff, beat up your sibilings. Scratch yourself, do dirty things. Dance. Everything you guys do everyday that you don't realize. You wont like tell him to scrach is head, he will just do it. Like sittin on the couch watching tv, drinking a soda, or beer, he'll scratch his head, and flip the channel to somthing dirty. This will be the best game that everyone would want to play, it would be better than The Sims, because this is REAL life. not what life should be

I've said this many times before, but here goes again. There was a reason for having 200+ programmers working on Shenmue, and still in Shenmue you can't do everything that real life has to offer.
