Crystal Raiders - This would be se in a 3d world like Dark Region 2

You see a average built man wairing a heavy armored environment suit that leaves the face exposed. He walks right at you from a distance till all you can see is his chest with the words Raider 6 Mine co. 1109. He bends down and examines a piece of crystal laying on the ground and smirks. He stands up and snaps his fingers(Music starts playing right when he snaps his fingers). Your view is now centered on a large vehicle that starts up and rumbles forward slowly. The view pans out and up showing a birds eye view of the site where many vehicles start moving and setting up buildings and other game related stuff. Then fades to the menu screen.

- Gameplay -
This is a mining game. No not a boring one. This would be se in a 3d world like Dark Region 2. You would mine and search out other mining locations on asteroids and planets. All the wile competing with the other mining factions. This will be set up like the Starcraft briefings and you would start out as a lower grunt. You work you way up to a commander and set your own goals. This is not a linear game play game. There will be different things you can do or not do that will change the story around. When your done mining a planet or asteroid you can search out others or you can buy or steal ones from other factions. This is not a battle game it is mostly about getting the resources to send back to your hq so they can build war machines and develop new tech. In a few missions it will be up to you to supply your hq with resources so they can build machines to protect you. The more resources you get the more defense your allowed. There will also be different starting areas. At game start you can chose one of 3 factions with there different advantages or weaknesses and then of 3 different positions. You could be a grunt, Engineer, or Supervisor.

Grunt: Is the person that looks for resources mines them, carries things around for the engineers, you know grunt work. There will be different opportunities along the way Up the job chain for each person.

Engineer: Sets up building orders, grunts around set up bases, checks resources for constancy and makes orders for certain kinds of minerals.

Supervisor: This is the head man on the site. He tells the engineers what he want and they do it. He makes sure that the resources are coming in as needed and communicates with HQ on important stuff like what minerals are needed, when there needed, how many men he can have to work his mine.

Note:
In the end all the jobs lead to HQ where you end up by the end of you career. There you can do every job there is and prospect for new places and even order advanced research to improve everything. You could become the universes riches man.

Camera:
Like said before it will be in a 3d world like the Dark Region 2 world is. But you can also be in 2 other views. First person 2ed person First person you are seeing though your guys eyes and everything is to scale. Second person: You are at a few meters distance and are able to move 360o around your character. Third person: In this view you can order yourself to move places and watch from high up. In this view you can look around in your environment without going anywhere.

-Other stuff-
If the game is a hit there would be an expiation witch would ether feature the war aspect to this game or it would be contact with an alien force and you ally or war with them depending on your chose at the beginning.

This is not a bad game idea, but not an extremely good one either. You lack that very original idea or revolutionary concept etc etc…But I guess that wasn't what you were going for either.
