The Last Planet
Story:The time is millions of years from now. Man has evolved into intelligent killers. Humans now have long sharp teeth and their punches and kicks are lethal. They have developed devastating weapons to waste away whoever apposes them. Earth was destroyed thousands of years ago not by aliens but by man himself. Leaders began to expand their empire into the galaxy for a long time. Humans merclessly killed thousands of different races of aliens. Conquering every habitable place in sight. Now five empires of humans exist and one planet is left. This is not an ordinary planet though. This planet is five million times bigger than the sun and has every resource available. A human-like species guards the planet and will fight for it until death. A war is about to began............. In this game you can be 6 empires the five human ones , the Polycars, the Triters, the Crowninians, the Migtols, and the Rapusals. You can also be the civilization trying to defend their planet. Ways to get money 1. Farming There are three basic seeds that you can start out with when you farm. Others can be gained by collecting them from enemies (each empire starts out with different seeds), finding them as you explore the planet, or mixing them to make a hybrid plant. Each crop makes a certain amount of money. The ones that make more money are either harder to plant which means it can be planted on not as many different kinds of land as the ones that make less money, or they cost more money to plant. Crops also can have affects on your troops if you give them some. They can result in good things such as: Energy-makes them last longer while moving or fighting (I will explain more about energy later)Health-brings their health up, strength-they will be able to inflict more damage on their enemies, and wisdom- they will be smarter on making choices(I will explain more about this later too) They can also result in bad things which will bring down all the things I told about. There also would be death. To tell where the crops go you would have a grid-stretcher thing similar to how you put stuff in like flowers or roads in RollerCoaster Tycoon. The more tiles you take up the more it costs. Sometimes a certain crop can not be placed in a a kind of ground so can't plant on the ground. 2.Gasoline/Oil You can set up mines where there is gasoline or oil and mine there. When you collect these you can use it for money or you can use it to run your vehicle troops. To mine you must set up oil miners which dig into the ground to get the oil. A sign of oil would be a black piece of ground. You can farm on these but you cannot get the oil or gasoline when its farmed ground. 3.Gold and Silver Mines To do this you either must make cave miners or caver miner trucks. Cave miners are less costly but take less time to mine. Cave miner trucks are more money, and need gasoline but work much faster and more efficently. Troops The troops in this game I will leave up for the developers, but there will be simply, ground troops, air troops, water troops, and underground troops. For each troop you can give them upgrades, which makes their energy, wisdom, strength, and better weapons. Energy does not apply to any kind of machine or vehicle Structures Structures I will also mostly leave up to the developers, but here are a few sugguestions. Sheild Building, this building will develop a sheild around your entire base except your power boxes. Your power boxes you can place anywhere on the map that you've discovered and should be well defended. The enemy needs to destroy all your power boxes to get into your base. This doesn't apply to underground troops. Underground transports can only hold men not vehicles so there can be no major attack. Sensors are used normally for "invisible" underground troops. (There will also be mobile sensors) If they are in your base they give you a ten second warning of the enemy. Underwater structures are a new aspect and they can be hidden under a lake or river. There are sensor ships for water so they could see ur underwater building if they have them. One kind of underwater structure is a torpedo launcher. You can launch torpedos from underwater on enemy ships that are on it. Energy Wisdom, Strength. Energy, (only applies to men) In most strategy games you can move your men around with them not moving any slower or completely not being able to move at all. With energy you must make them rest or eat food, to know how much energy a man troop has click on the man and it along with the strength bar show. To make the energy bar decrease slower the man must eat a certain plant, or gain upgrades. Wisdom (only applies to manned vehicles and men) When you start out your troop is a pretty dumb troop. He takes the slowest way around things, is not the best at accuracy, and cant distinguish things as well as smarter troops (this means how far he can see, applying to the smog in most strategy games including this one. To get a higher wisdom, you must eat a certain plant, or gain an upgrade. Strength (or health) How much an enemy can take before he dies. To gain more strength you must eat a certain plant, or gain an upgrade. Other Feature If you click on a troop or structure in the corner it will show an animated picture of it. On it you can see its damage, how tired it is (by heavy breathing or not) its weapon, and if its a building, you see an inside view of what its doing. (Making a troop ect.) You would use your mouse and keyboard to control. Roger Bergeron rogerb@ziphead.com Apart from the "5 million times bigger than the sun planet", and that one of the resources where oil, which is not a very efficient energy resource, I think it was a pretty cool idea with many good thoughts.
