The year is 2087. 14 years ago a new form of energy was produced. Fusion X. While the benefits were plentiful, the results of a spill were unknown. And it wasn't exactly safe. So to test it, a miniature plant was built on a large, yet deserted island. Or so they thought. The island was in fact inhabited by a small civilization of natives. But this being unknown, the plant was built. 2 days later it exploded. Now, 14 years later, a small group of 3 scientists have been sent to the island to record the results of the radiation. But when within 100- yards of the isle, a humongous mutant bird attacks their helicopter, sending them into a watery grave. You play as either Max Sheperds or Alissa Stevens. Both were swept up onto the island, but at opposite ends. Max explores what is left of the plant, which, although miniature compared to others, is humongous. He dicovers that workers were trapped inside the plant when it exploded, just to be used as an experiment. The result is: flesh eating worker zombies. Alissa investigates the abandoned native village, finding a single living "tourist" by the name of Rick Rushside, who had docked his boat on the island just recently and gotten trapped there. Rick becomes Alissa's love interest, just like Claire and Steve in Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Only in this game, the ending isn't reminiscent of titanic (Rick survives.) Alissa also explores the jungle with the help of Rick. Later on, after finding a working computer, Max discovers that the military is coming to the island to interrogate the scientists, and then dispose of them! After that it's a race to find Alissa, wasting zombies as you go. Along the way you find Robert, the 3rd scientist in your team. You meet up with Alissa and Rick, but suddenly a humongous helicopter appears out of nowhere, and starts firing on you! Robert is killed, and Rick is badly injured. Now, if you're playing as Max, you send Alissa and Rick(who is unconscious) off to find a way to get off the island. You then have to "fight" the helicopter, and later the soldiers that get out of it. If you're playing as Alissa, you drag Rick to a tree and leave him. You leave him a "love letter" in the sand, and run off to find some sort of transportation off the island. After a few "hard" bosses, you find a speed boat and drive it down a river through the island towards Max, picking up your "guy" along the way. You get to Max, who has had his legs blown off. Another helicopter appears in the sky. The huge mutant bird from the beginning rams it, and it quickly lands. Soldiers get out and blast it, and then turn to you. But the birds mate swoops down and scoops them up, taking them to certain doom. Alissa gets inside and holds a gun to the pilots head, threatening to kill him if he doesnt fly her outta there. All 3survivors get in the helicopter and head toward home. The end- or is it? The creators of the energy are shown having a debate. An evil looking man gets up, and takes out a gun and blows everyone away. He then dials a number on his cell phone and orders cannisters of the chemical to be dropped on every capitol in every country. Why? Who knows. But the terror is just beginning....

Details: This game would be on the PS2, Dreamcast and Gamecube consoles. While all the details like the bosses and gameplay have'nt been worked out. I think it's a pretty good story and if made, would make a solid addition to any gamers library. Coming soon- Fusion 2: Washington D.eath C.ity.

As long as you don't mention any game play in your game idea, the story have to be bloody good if it's to get a place in the Hall of Fame. So next time add some innovative game play futures, if possible.
