It's a tale of crime and corruption. You must find out who is behind all of this before it's too late. You are Marcus White, a blue-collar employee working for a leading computer company in New York City. You used to be with the best until some guy imported from Europe stormed in and snatched your paycheque from under your nose. It's all been downhill from there. You can't help but wonder what made him any better than you. You sneak into the "boss's" office after hours and break into Henri LaFleur's file, not surprised that it's squeaky clean. But you do catch your eye on something. It appears that your company is merging with another leading computer company in Europe. You hear someone coming and hide behind the elegant Ming Vase in the corner of the office. It's Mr. Hirsch (the president of the company) and Henri LaFleur. "Where have you been lately LaFleur? We need to talk about Mr. Vance" "We do?" "Well a dead body isn't going to hide by itself" "Oui. I am aware..." "What has S.S. suggested we do?" Hirsch interrupted "Well...he hasn't gotten back to..." Just then the door opens "Who is zis?" LaFleur exclaims "I am Jackson. Here on orders of S.S." the man said in a heavy French accent. Just then a loud BANG! rings in your ears as you watch LaFleur tumble to the ground. "Was that really nessiscary?" asked Hirsch "I am only following orders" You hear the door shut and Hirsch walks over to his computer. "As soon as the master plan is underway I won't need to follow S.S.'s orders. It will all be as good as mine!" and Hirch starts laughing cynically. What could the master plan be? And who is this S.S.? The fate of more than you think lies in your hands... That was just a teaser so here is most of the story layed out. Hirsch and S.S. have been planning this for awhile and when they started, every product they sold contained a tiny undectabe virus that can only be activated by a remote. When Hirsch merges with the European company, he and S.S. will activate the virus, hiding most of the files on the computer but leaving open just one small file, giving the illusion that they were erased. Then they will sell the debugger for it and millions will buy it to fix their computer. All the debugger does though is make the files visible again. All the money from the debugger and 10 cents from each item that contained the virus goes into a bank account where they can retrieve it and retire if they want, but Hirsch planned something more sinister... (now this is where I'm stuck. If you use this idea then you can come up with your own ending) The whole game is played where you are still finding out about all of this stuff gradually until the very end when you uncover Hirsch's secret.
