DBZ : Millenium Battle - a Dragon Ball Z fighting game

Basically this is the DBZ fans dream game. 2D with graphics matching Stree Fighter's and the flashy eye candy. this game would play better on an arcade because it has seven buttons on the lay out. But I hope you enjoy my idea. Down at the bottom is a better description of the game.


Story Mode:
Compete against the computer with the Z fighters in increasingly difficult battles through all the DBZ sagas by training your character raising Ki levels just like in Build Up Mode with various trainers and fighters from the series.

Arcade Mode:
Compete against the computer in increasingly difficult battles. Your standard fighting game fare.

Build Up Mode:
Select a certain character and build him or her up to your liking.

VS Mode:
Compete against a friend in an all out battle.
Tenchi Boudokai:
Battle with your friends or the computer in a tournament of 16

Pair Match Mode (Hidden):
Fight a series of 2 on 2 matches.

Game Replay Mode:
Record a match and watch it again later. WHEE!

Training Mode:
Beat up on a dummy.
-Dummy: Normal, CPU, or Manual (Normal default)
-Dummy Action: Stand, Crouch, Jump (Stand default)
-Dummy Guard: No guard, All guard, Auto guard (No guard default)
-Ki Guage: Red, Normal, Max (Normal default)

Option Mode:
-Game Option
-Difficulty: 1 thru 8. 2 is the default
-Time: Infinity, 999, 600, 300. 999 is the default
-Damage: 1 thru 4. 2 is the default
-Speed: Free (choose before a match), Normal, Turbo. Free is default
-Ki Gauge: Normal or Max. Normal is default
-Sound: Monaural or Stereo
-Game Music: Normal or Original. Normal is default. (This is a secret feature)
-Default Settings: Sets everything back to default.
-Button Config: Duh...
-Display Adjust: Center the screen to your liking

Memory Card:
Save, load, auto-save. The usual suspects.

I only used significant characters that made some impact on the series other than sameone who was just there to waist time. Example Dudoria.

ALTERNATE CHARACTERS:
As you play through the game and unlock secrets, you'll be able to unlock Alternative versions of some characters, some with different attacks (example Gohan's first Alternate character is Mystic Gohan). To select the Alternate version of a character, hold down Start and scroll through the different Alternate characters by moving the joystic from left to right and then select the character.

Vegeta:Original Vegeta (The one that could go Oozaru)

SUPER ATTACKS:
Each character has their own set of Super Ki attacks. These attacks can be charged up to 3 different levels, depending on how long

BATTLE CLASH:
When two opponents dash into each other theyll ingage in a fury of punches and kicks just like in the DBZ show.

HYPER ATTACKS:
This is our characters Hyper moves. These attacks are the most powerful of your character's arsenal.

KI BLASTS WAR:
When two Ki blasts connect you'll have to battle your opponent in a tug of war style. The player that wins the war Gets the hit on the opponent with it being more powerful than it was before.

GUARD BREAKING:
As your opponent blocks your attacks, you'll see blue sparks. Keep hitting them and these sparks get smaller. Eventually you'll see the white area around their life bar start to flash red. A few more blocked attacks causes you to break their guard and they'll sit wide open for just over a second. Break their guard and make them eat a Super.

SSJ TRANSFORMATIONS:
With all saiyans like Goku and Vegeta they have the special ability to change in to a SSJ. You must have a power level of 3 to perform this technique (like when ryu goes to evil ryu). The SSJ transformations can go all the way up to SSJ3.

For some reason we are getting more and more DBZ game ideas. I really good DBZ fighting game would of course be cool, but I think you might have spent too long writing about not too interesting details.
