Well....personally, I think it might be stupid...but hey..other poeple may like it.. Here goes.. Imagine that it's a footie game with all the real players, stadiums ,leagues etc. You don't actually play.... but instead, you are a referee!!! You decide whether it's a penalty, yellow card, red card and all the other referee stuff. You start with small friendly matches and the better you become the more you progress. If you're very good they might even ask you to be a referee in a champions league final for example. After each match your performance is recorded and you could even see your mistakes. Obviously, no replay are available (only fair!) except after the match. In the pitch, you have to move the ref. around making sure you don't hit the ball. When you move around the screen moves with you. When you see the linesman putting up the flag, you have to blow the whistle. There could also be an option to play as a linesman. Obviously, the control system might be complicated...but that's not for me to decide, it's for the game publisher.
