Improvements on Civilization

From: "kenny82" To: Subject: stratagy Date: 16. oktober 2000 02:05 I think it would be a good Idea in civilization if you could claim your borders without having to place a unit there and the computer would claim land just the same way you claim land ex: you could have a country on one island and claim land on another island but if some other civilization claims the same land, you may have to go to war with them or alow them to have the land{yea right} and the land would have small villages and cities that don't count as one of your citys that you can build stuff in, but they contribute to taxes and If left unguarded may rise up against you and join another civilization oh yea they would not use up tiles with there workers so you can still build one of your main citys on top off them . You should also be able to negociate for land and get money for selling your land, also If the locals like you they may give you gifts in the form of units and you should be able to build a few nonmilitary things in the local cities to make them like you more and if they really like you they will defend there small villages from other civilization if they attack but if they don't like you they will revolt and cost you money instead and if they really don't like you they will create there own units and attack you until you unclaim there land or build more things to make them happy.

I think this would be better because it would be a bit more realistic because in the real world there are people every where and it would take the Idea of the villages to a higher level
