The producer is responsible for that the game gets done on
time and on budget. Production workers can be anywhere from
the producers who supervise the entire project to the office
administrators. Most producer have years of experience in
the game biz. This is not a job one takes straight out of
college. Organizing the development of a new game can be incredible
challenging, with project budgets reaching millions of dollars
and development teams consisting of dozens of programmers
and designers. The work can involve writing the documentation,
tracking the work and checking the final product for errors.
