STORY:
In a distant universe, 100s of years ago, Tyrannith the Mysterious became king of the world (Vorago meaning Abyss) after being heir to the thrown for 28 years. He was more than just a king, he was like a god. They built five statuettes of him called Kurai (meaning power). Each of them were said to be blessed. The people built him a temple to worship him in. His great ideas inspired millions of inhabitants to help themselves and others. However, about 35 years after gaining control, Tyrannith mysteriously vanished. Also, the Black Kurai had disappeared without a trace.
It’s now the year 853, 0 was said to have been when the god Ahumane destroyed the demonic world Malefisah that’s evil army was set on course to eliminate the five blade mages. Sir Aeris Ensis, knight serving under King Clanculum, who recently gained the crown, has been sent on the mission to eliminate Forus, leader of the Grave Blade gang, a gang who use magic to there advantage in trying to gain fame and fortune. They have said to have found the White Kurai (the soul Kurai) which has the power to take control of there enemy’s minds. However, since their souls are not pure, any Grave Blade or evil man who tries to use it for selfish or cruel reasons will be stricken dead and sent straight to hell. They found this out losing many men in the process. The only way to enable its power to the evil is to have the black Kurai (the damned Kurai) present, but that Kurai had disappeared long ago with King Tyrannith. Therefore they must find it, under any circumstances…
Meanwhile the misunderstood outlaw Draken Cristel, better known as Shadow Jewel, listened in to the conversation between Ensis and Clanculum while crawling on the castle roof, and decided to tail the knight and try to clear his name by aiding him in any means necessary.
GAMEPLAY:
Black Kurai is an RPG where you take control of Aeris Ensis, knight renowned for his hand-to-hand skills and brief knowledge of magic. In this game you will battle many enemies each with their own strengths and weaknesses, help people for money and aim for your goal of destroying Forus and ending the evil the Grave Blades have caused. But along the way the plot will twist especially with the aid of Shadow Jewel.
Magic spells aplenty and weapons galore, you will have to eliminate your foe to win EXP. This will raise your levels so you can learn to wield better weapons and use more advanced spells. However, you don’t get them just like this. You will have to gain money know as GLD (gold).
You can gain this from selling items in shops, helping people and even gaining jobs. Many events will occure including stadium fights (you can gain prizes), competitions (archery and others) and fighting lessons which gain you lots of EXP.
Here are some examples of events and shops:
Clanculum Fighting Arena: Holding constant fighting events with the finest of the Clanculitian army. Each battle you will andvance and if the last match against an elite soldier is won, you will win a great amount of GLD.
Ranger Stadium: Practice your archery in this stadium. Compete against opponents using your skill in accuracy with a bow and arrows. At the end you will win a prize if you win.
