The World
My game idea is called invention, the main idea of the game is that you build your own robot to fight with in a battle arena, but before you can fight you must first have an idea of what kind of robot to build, so you (an inventor) go out to look for animals and places that have sertain abilities that you can study and make your own.
The Scrapheap
After you have the blueprint all set up you can go to the scrapheap and find parts for your robot, but the parts in the scrapheap are not arms and legs of robots, theire cars and bikes and everyday junk, but it all has a compatability rating and if you have all these ratings filled you will have yourself a robot, only every single part you put on the robot can break and cause the robot to malfunction so the less parts on the robot the better, this way you will look for high quality parts.
The Tournament
When your done building your robot you can name it and enter it in the fighting arena. Here you fight with all kinds of other robots that are build by other inventors and they will do battle in all kinds of arena's (very much like pokémon ectually), only they are stages and you have to fight the robots on their ground, so if its a mountain type, you will fight in the mountains. Also you can talk to the other inventors and maybe even sabotage their robots but be carefull, they can also sabotage yours!
Battles, Rankings and cold hard cash!
After the fights you will get a rank and you get to fight lower ranks on a stage of your own choosing, this will give you an advantage over the challenger, but higher ranks fight on their turf and are increasingly harder to beat. You also get money for each fight and the amount depends on how well you fought, with this money you can tweak your robot and make it a little better, or just repair the damage it has taken in battle.
You can go on fighting untill you beat everyone and then you will have to wait for the next tournament and you can have a little time to prepair again, but the clock is ticking!...
