CD-Cartridges are disks with CDs in them. Instead of having e-cards that would play games of only NES/SNES or GBC quality, you could put this CD-Disk into the device and play N64 games on the gamecube. Or you could play short games of the same graphic qualities. You could buy the disks that have movie trailers in them that you could watch on the gamecube. You could download updates and expansion onto games for the Gamecube - Mario Sunshine could have several minigames or a secret boss; You could play Super Metroid on the Gamecube but have the levels edited to make it a whole new game. You could put in your own homemade music for games. To do this you would buy a device to download music from your computer into a blank CD-Disk. Then BOOM!!! A whole new music score Metroid or Turok. People might not think its possible, but I know Nintendo could pull this off. They have bedazzled the minds - if they can put a game on a little card - they can do this! You might need an updated Gameboy Advance Link, but Nintendo could make that too. I think it would be a worthy investment.
