GTA cross with Romance of the 3 Kingdoms Online, here's the deal:
Same game title, but two games are actually made. One game is for the Crime lord, the second game is for the criminal.
Game A: People who go out to buy this disc assume the role of a crime lord. The interface they use will be alot like the kind that you would find in RotK. You go out, recruit thugs to do your dirty work, prepare gang-wars, take care of your property etc. But the beauty of this is, you have to go out and find real people to do your work. You have to convince them, persuade them, force them. Whatever it takes. You're the one that is making deals with the other crime lords, planning the screw overs, digging for the underground info just a whole lot of stuff that say..... Tony Soprano would get his hands into. The crime lords part in the game is pure strategy. He doesn't really go out to fight, he's the guy that puts the gangs together (like putting the army together RTK). He's the guy that keeps an eye on his properties (like looking after your city in RTK). He's the guy that looks for the new talent (like scouting in RTK). He's the guy that has the plan. I'm saying that the crime lords act like the war lords but set in a modern era. Instead of a map of China, you get a map of the city. Instead of Provinces, you look at territories, neighbourhoods, you know, urban stuff.
Game B: People who go out to buy this disc assume the role of the thug/criminal. With a create a thug option deeper than wrestling games, you can really personalize your online persona. These guys try getting in with a crime lord. Right off the start it won't be hard because crime lords are just as desperate but as you get deeper in, it gets a lot tougher. Just like GTA, you get ranked on how well you do. The lower the ranking, the lower your respect and therefore the less your pay, vice versa. Your character is saved into the server, so when your character dies, he's dead, you have to start from scratch. Crime lords can also make your jobs specific (ie: fighter, driver, protection etc.) but feel free to screw him over anytime (if you have the balls to do it, remember, he will have other men).
Game ends when a crime lord conquers the city. Millions of servers, 10 crime lords max per server. Game runs in real time. If and when the crime lord overtakes the city, he can play again but will be able to offer his men better weapons, better cars etc. Infinite replayability, available downloads like new cars, new neighbourhoods, new buildings, etc. Make it expand like a real city, have it act like a real city.
I know this would be tough to do but honestly, if it’s done and done well, who wouldn't buy it?
