This would be a racer similar to midtown Madness but with some great additions and changes.
In the city that the whole game takes place, there would be great detail. Each building would have levels to it, if a car was flying through the air near the roof of a building (explained later) and crashed into a building that was mainly glass windows, the car would go through it and land on something like cubicals and computers and go crashing through them and out the other end of the building. And rooftops would have detail too. The reason a car would be so high in the air would the main difference about this game. A large percent of the racing would occur on floating platform that are different in each level. These platform would take you from rooftop to rooftop or level of building to the other, these platform could extend high into the sky and then suddenly cut off and you would fall to almost certain demise, but there could be other unrealistic things there to save you, like ramps that start off almost vertical so you gently glide down them, or gigantic trampoline than send you flying to other platforms, you would spend a surprising amount of time flying through the air. You could also spend time on the ground dodging cars and other stuff. Floating paths could also extend under water, just droppings you off in the lake from 300 feet above the city or having tunnels that send you under the lake or a surrounding ocean, or any other body of water that could be in the game. These platforms could include loops and helixes that seem to defy gravity and all kinds of cool and unrealistic twists that twirl in and out of buildings and streets. Most levels would have check points you had to pass through in any place in the city the paths extended to. If a check point happened to be on a really high platform and you fell off, there would be a “re-placing button” that would place you back on a near platform or streets, much like the RUSH series. The levels would also have many ways to go, also like RUSH. There would be a cruise mode that you could set as a demolition derby with comps or in single player cruise could be used to find secret car add-ons and money and other secrets. There would also be a “King of Air Space” game that would be similar to king of the hill but you would spend so much time flying from platform to platform and falling through air space and on building rooftop, that it really should not be called king of the hill.
The vehicles in the game would be equally unrealistic and fun. The vehicles would be similar to the vehicles of smugglers run. They would have amazing suspension and be able to survive really high falls. Your car would also have small but powerful co2 valves on the side of the car so you could alter your position in the air so you could land on you wheels and have a better chance of surviving, or position yourself to the ramp your landing on. Your car would also be your creation, you would choose the size, body, wheels and number of wheels from 2 to 8, being more powerful or tougher to survive falls, weight, every thing that could be applied to a car or truck or other kind of things you could create. When you beat games you earn money so you can make your vehicle better. Vehicle could also go under water for a certain amount of time, you can make them last longer with better seals on door and such. They would be very hard to control under water, but you could change this with attachments like propellers and heavy tires. When you start the main game there would be a level to choose from that would be realism factor. The more realistic the game, the harder it is. When it is more realistic your car can be damaged easer, so you can’t hit walls as hard or the front of your car could crush in, stuff like that.
Something that would make that game event greater is the level editor. It would start with just the city, and then you can place all the ramps and platforms and check points you want. Custom levels would be great for online play where you can share and play all kinds of levels. People can event edit the city for cruise mode or cruise demolition so you can do all kinds of cool stunts and kill each other at the same time. You could edit the king of air space matches too. Editing to cruise the city would get rid of all secrets and these levels would only work for online play.
As a summery this game is a mix of midtown madness, smugglers run, and RUSH, with a lot of originality.

Its a good idea, but not very original. There are a lot of games like that. Oh, and the secret with the cubicles - that happened in SSX.

Well i though it was an original idea, you say there are other games like that, i have been looking for something like it, what are they. and the secrets were just a general statment, i ment they would be in random secret places around the city, i guess one could be in a cubical level, i guess....

The idea has potential in that you can crash into buildings and other areas counted as "one big block of obstacle" in most other racing games. I think you should expand on that and make it a feature instead of a secret: imagine an action flick style chase scene where you crash through mailboxes, windows, and other things to get to your goal. Groovy.

Why not hover cars that hovers above ground ? When they pass over some boosts they go faster or jumps. The idea of building crashing car racer could be great. Imagine a game where half of the race is trough offices and malls. The cars could have weapons and tools. Guns, lasers, spikes strips, grapple, radioactive mices,... And why the hover cars ? Because they need no suspension you can go wacko with the cars design. A Racer-jeep, boosted-up Bus, spiked mini, demonic truck, hippy van, Bond car,...

Well, this idea is somewhat original. But the are too many 'hover car" games out there, so stay away from that. If I may suggest, change the name of the game- "Unreal" is copyrighted, just thought you ought to know... You're idea is rather interesting, I like the whole bashing through buildings and cubicals idea.
