Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.
The Player is a next generation football game, which will be played over the Internet, either on a console or on PC.
The ‘Player’ has three types of game play. You can either, become a Player, a Manager or a Referee/Linesman. If you choose the Player then you will have to train yourself up, by getting used to the controls and the game, from the outset you will chose what position you want to play, from Goalkeeper right through to Striker, even specifying what side you want to be on.
If you are the manager then you take control of a team, from the start you have no players and you have to go out and scout players to buy, you can either watch a full 11 team game or a five-a-side game.
If you are the referee, then you will referee a match, some games you might become a linesman, you could go round in a group of three and alternate between each match, or just ask to referee a up and coming match.
When a manager has acquired a team, then he/she will take them trough the divisions, starting with the very low divisions and building upwards, they can then sell and buys players.
If some players in a team aren’t playing in a game for what ever reason, then they have the opportunity to go and watch a different game and go scouting for players.
Remembering that every game and training session will be played on-line, then it is quiet possible that a player from England could be playing for a team in South America. They will be inter-continent leagues, starting with grass-routes local teams going all the way to big league clubs, which can go and play against other nation clubs. They will also be a national team, which will have a manager, and at the end of every 2nd season, they will be national cup competitions.
