This game expands the Super Smash Brothers universe, making a racing game like Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart. But they should still make Super Smash Brothers games. The storyline is that Pyroflare, a powerful monster who wants to take over all of the main Nintendo worlds or universes. To do this, he hires henchmen and bosses to take over a certain universe. The first universe would be Mushroom Kingdom and his hired boss would be Bowser. This would be the Mushroom Kingdom Tour. You can't pick a character from that universe, but have to, instead, pick one outside of it - like Link, Zelda, or Samus Aran.
There would be a certain number of levels in this universe, and some races would have different vehicles than others. To beat the Tour you must come in first place overall at the end - and you always race people from that universe. At the very last level, would be Bowser's Castle, you would race his henchmen. And if you get first you would move on to the last race - where you race Bowser himself! There would be powerups like in Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing. After you beat this race you go onto the Battle Arena Mode - like in Mario Kart battle mode, and you have to come first by beating all his henchmen, than you move on the last battle mode level - defeat Bowser.
Next would come Hyrule Kingdom, then the Metroid Universe, and so on. By collecting coins in the Mushroom Kingdom you can unlock certain things, and in the Hyrule Kingdom you have to collect Rupees, and in Metroid you would have to collect life ball things. Each universe's powerups vary - in Mushroom Kingdom you could get Mushrooms to blast forward; in Hyrule Kingdom you get a Guided Arrow; in Metroid you could get a Ice Beam.
The last place would be the Kingdom of Pyroflare... and might there be a sequel? Who knows? But in this game, there are many things that don't involve the story - unlock battle mode, unlock the henchmen and the bosses, unlock Pyroflare, and unlock minigames.
