In Gameday Lacrosse, you chose one of many college teams and you work your way to the trophy. Your team is very open to customization and you also have an option to create a player/team. Shooting would start with one button, then after that different buttons would make different shots(like football games, a to select which receiver.)
In short, you are a college coach who is put in charge of building and maintaing a team, bringing them, hopefully, to their biggest event of their college career....the Nationals. With many passes, fakes, shots, variations, you can become quite a nemisis to other teams in the league.
Captains get a 2 stat point bonus while others are stronger in different areas. Midfielders have high endurance and speed, attackers have little endurance, lots of speed, lots of accuracy and lots of shot power. Defenders have good speed, lots of checking power, good footwork, good defense.
As a coach, you will be able to decide who to sign, who to drop. Who to promote to Captain, manage a roster, and pressure them with random practices(which will improve your team.)
