-----------------------Omni Fist-----------------------

Basic Story

Tseng (the main character) is a new recruit in the Lotus Empire army, who
hails from the village of Zing. He joins at the age of 16, which was when most boys
signed up. He says goodbye to his family, and gets on the cart, along with his 3 friends,
Skye, Tzu-Lin, and Vincent. All of them have been friends since a young age, except
Vincent, who came to their village just a few years ago. Despite his dark persona and lack
of social skills, they become friends. So off they go, rattling along the dirt road, leaving a
cloud of dust in their path.

At the training encampment, they spend the next few years learning the
disciplines of the basic combat styles and Omni, the mysterious power of the earth. The
training is rigorous, and the boys toughen up greatly. Then the fateful day came when
they were sent on their first mission, to assist in the capture of Ming Huin, the capital city
of the Ming Huin Empire. There they discover a secret bigger than the world of Lao Zao
itself. A secret destined to engulf the world in darkness. BUT im not going to tell you what
it is (that would just ruin the story) ; )

Gameplay

- Turn Based strategy on a quadrilateral space interface sort of thing ( like FF Tactics /
Shining Force) Not hex spaces. Sqares. Good old reliable squares.

- Many different styles of combat ( Sword, Nunchaku, Fists, Archery, Staves, Omni ( Magic
user), Firearms, demolitions, and maybe some more. In case you can't count that's 8 total

- Here's where some innovation is added. The ability to unlock fighting styles/ create your
own. By obtaining certain skills you can boost your power greatly. For example, if you
master a lot of fire Omni and get really good with Swords, you could be the Bladed
Dragon style! See? He could instill his blade with SUPER FIRE POWERS OF DEATH and
gain the ability to summon a dragon. Come up with your own! The possibilities are
endless!!!

- To obtain skills you visit temples. For some Yeso ( the form of currency in Lao Zao) and
the proper experience, you "Purchase" new skills. You can also obtain special ones by
finding hidden fighting styles, with the hidden ones being more difficult to discover (thus
being more powerful)

- As you go through the game you will aquire characters with their own special preset
skills. I think I would want at least 20 characters to be available, with 10 at a time on the
field.

- I’m also hoping for big numbers. Like when characters at the end of the game have like 99999 hp. I like big numbers. It also makes attacks cooler. Like with Super Fire Blade you do 20000 Damage! I just think that looks cool.

Other Notes

- This idea may not be very long, but i think it has some potential. Gimme some ideas and
I'll stick em in if I like them.

- If your wondering where i got Yeso from, I combined the words Peso and Yen. Pretty
clever eh?

- If you enjoy this or have something to say, email me at yah_toast00@hotmail.com

- As I come up with some more ideas, i'll develope them and stick them on. Expect a lot of
Strategy RPG's from me. I love them. A lot.

- This is my first idea post, so don't be afraid to yell at me and call me an idiot. It helps me.

- Im hoping this game would come out for GBA. I just love those little pixellated people. Or
maybe PS2, with a lot of big flashy cool graphics. Either would be fine.

the story reminds me alittle bit of suikoden, which i loved. and yeah i remember shining force too...those were good days in rpg history. with more elaboration i think you could take this idea very far. it was pleasant to see you use a more asian like world and i like the story behind omni.
