Story: At the begaining of the game, your customized chracter is orphaned. They go to a orphanage, but are adopted by dead-beat parents who don't care. Now it is middle shcool.

Gameplay: The gameplay would be similar to grandtheft auto, in the sense you can do almost anything. Run around, go to shcool, steal stuff, and even kill. But the catch is, do bad things and you will get on the wanted list and mercanaries would come after you. You would gain stats rpg style. And it would matter, for example, if you were to get in a gang fight and someone pulled a gun, you would have to run. If you were fast enough, you could doge the bullet. But otherwise, you would be shot. The game would have a varity of weapons. Ultamatly, your goal is survial. Youwould age one year every month(The game would utilize the internal clock.) As metined, the internal clock would be used. And used. For example, if you were to leave the game for a week, then you would have to be in a safe place. Otherwise, someone might kill you. Of course, the game would have a pause while you save system so gang members or rivels dont kill you. This would add to the addiction factor.

Comments: I relize that such a game might be impossible for at lest 20 years, but I am trying to see ahead. The concept was preciaved through text roleplaying (freedom factor) and the game fable(aka project EGO) This game is not meant to be a blood bath. You could just go through life as a student.

hmmm it sounds like the sims only more melodramatic. don't get me wrong. the game has potential its just well, i play games to escape harsh reality. as for literally aging year by year i think instead maybe the game should have a solid back bone story to give the players a goal rather than having them wandering around aimlessly like in real life. realism is good...but only up to a certain point before it becomes tidious. the inclusion of gangs and commitable crimes may make your game more enticing to high octane action fans. as a matter of fact...the only thing i can suggest it flesh it out and give it more of a direction. an approach you could take is having mutiple story paths interlocking like in saga frontier. you have each unique character with their own storyline and at some point they all interact for positive or negative results depending on the players actions. burnt out cop,gang youth,orphan girl,drug lord,and pretty prostitute could all be templates you work from. but hey its just a suggestion nothing is set in stone

is not something that i would want to buy,no offence, it sounds liek a good game, but what how old will the main character life to be? and what happens when he dies? think that alot of peopel buy games to relax and not be thinking about cops going around to kill them. maybe yo ushould make this game.... better. Good luck, i like this idea.

a basic plot, sure the free roaming of GTA is great,b ut the game would be nothing without missions, which you have described none of in this game. I disagree with the guy above me though, the cops would be justlike having a normal bad guy surely? I'd actually directly oppose you, whats an action game without people to kill/go against? Also, running around school killing would not be considered suitable...perhaps
