My game would be a RPG in the sense that you gain experince, level up, get new eguipment and play thought a story. But its a fighting game in the sense that when you get into a battle its fighting game style.As you level up you would get new combo moves for use in battle. Leveling up would also incress how much damage you do(Strength), bring down how much the enemy does(Defense), how much life you have(Hit Points) and how much magic you could use(Magic Points). Those are all the stats except one, intelligence. While the rest of the stats have the coventinal effect, intelligence would bring up your chances to learn a combo move from an enemy, instead of bringing up magic damage. Magic would be obtained by finding books in cave, duengeon, etc. or from enemys that drop them. Also using differnt equipment would change what you look like in battle in addition to making you better. Another RPG aspect is that you could use items in battle, unlike most fighting games. Random battles would be fairly easy, but bosses would be more challenging. I think that simply combining the two adds a fun and innovative twist to both styles of games.
