Learn Game Programming

Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.

   Story:

The lands of Tenroc have been almost completely destroyed.  Retched beasts roam the plains and hills, burning down trees, destroying homes, and slaughtering people and livestock.  This is enough.

Jevvis, commander of the Tenrocan army has assembled an ultimate force, a force capable of annihilating the evil hordes.  He has taken able people from all surrounding countries and trained them in a way that only he was trained.  They are ready, and they will win at whatever cost.

In this game you play as Jevvis, the commander.  The battles are between huge forces, but the camera doesn't position you in the sky where the people look like ants, you're right in the mess of things.  Most of these battles are the whole level, starting with two forces charging into each other, swords drawn.  Some battles, though, are so long, it can take up to four levels to complete them.

The last battle will take place on the monsters home turf, Dragolismoth, it will be ten levels long.( There will be 34 levels in all.)

During this time, Jevvis will discover many things about the monsters.  One being that they're not all monsters, but some are actually demons.

When the battle is ultimately won, Dragolismoth suddenly starts to sink.  The armies of humans escape the land, and watch as it becomes an ocean after it sinks.  The war is over, and it is the last one they ever had to fight.

  Here are the controls:

  use sword: triangle button

  movement: left anolog stick

  camera: R2 or L2

  block attacks: circle button

  jump: x button

  Characters:

Jevvis:  Tenrocan army commander who leads the fight against the evil hordes.  Discovers that Dragolismoth is actually a chunk of the underworld.

Humans:  Lead them in the war, bring them to victory!

Evil Hordes: The army of monsters and demons that begin to attack Tenroc.

  Members of the Evil Hordes:

Desmos: The largest of the monsters, it can smash an entire tower if need be.  These are difficult to kill, but not impossible.

Regal: Archers of the monsters.  These cannot do much damage, so focous on the more powerful enemies first.

Ovidas: A horse-like beast that the Regals use. Kill them as they pass you, and that should take care of the Regals too.

That's a few of the monsters, here are some demons:

Agalfus: A medium-sized, flying demon that is best killed by bow-and-arrow.

Morgalin: A large, armored demon that is probably the most powerful, in terms of strength, that you will face.

Sevosis: These look like a cross between a raptor and a goat.  They are only in Dragolismoth, because they are the purist of the demons, and could not take the human's world.

That's just a few, anymore writing and my fingers would cramp, so good-bye.

simplistic but not without potential

it sounds like a combination of games such as dynasty warriors and chaos legion. if done right it could be fun but perhaps you can elaborate more on different units of humans and more on the levels.
