Imagine playing Firearms, Tribes or team Fortress Classic with the ability to build more than a damn turret. Each team starts with a base, an ore farm, and a power source. The gameplay is 100% action but also 100% strategy because you are playing a first person shooter the whole time, but you also have the ability to build bunkers, walls, turrets, additional forts, towers, vehicles, trenches, tunnels, and anything else you may need in war. Here's how the gameplay works; it's like you are an engineer and soldier at the same time. There is not only one class like an engineer or builder that can build, any class can build as long as the have the ore to create the piece. There is no need to choose a class like sniper, or engineer, or medic, or marine. You simply choose your armor, light, medium, or heavy and that determines how fast you move, how much you can carry, and how much damage you can take. After that you simply choose your skills like repair, healing, running, carrying, aiming, etc. Then you can choose your items like healing kit, repair kit, sniper rifle, plasma gun, pistol, etc. During play the game is no different than any other online shooter, except that you and your teamates will be able to build things. More about building: to build you may need many trips or many team members to help. To build you need ore which as long as your teams ore farm is up and running (as opposed to destoryed by the other team in which case you would need to repair it) you will have a constant supply of ore. Your character can carry a certain amount of ore based on armor suit and skills (such as a skill that lets you carry more). Then when you want to build, each part of a building (things like base, foundation, understructure, walls, armor plating, turrets, etc) will each have a material cost which will use up ore when you build that part. So for something like a base you will need to make many runs to have many players all building at the same time to build it. Building is very fast but no quite instant in order to give the other team a chance to halt production of a building. To build something like a wall you may only need a base and then the wall itself. To build a turret you may need a turret base, ammo chamber, and barrel. The point of things like trenches, walls, and bunkers are obviously to give you cover. Things like a base may do that, but will also allow you to respawn closer than your original base which is a nice advantage. You will also have to build things like planes tanks and boats. There is another resource other than just ore, that resource is power. As long as your power plant is up and running, everything like turrets, vehicles, radars, cameras, base computers, and the automated ore farm will work perfectly. If the power plant is destoryed it must be repaired before these things will work again. The game will feel tactical like an RTS only have action gameplay and the feeling of really being in the battle.
