Dungeons & Dragons: Worlds is game that would be created by Bioware, very similar to Neverwinter Nights in many ways, but there are many new features that make it a totally different RPG game in its own right. First off, the game will have the same rules as Neverwinter Nights. But it will not take place in the same world, instead, it will be a totally original world created for this game.
Lets begin with making your own Modules and such. In the game you will get to make your very own village. The village would be created using an upgraded Aurora Toolset, but it will have more of a Simulation game feel to it in this part. You create your village like you create a city in Sim City. With money. You can build Inns, houses, farms, shops, and such places.
You will only start with a certain amount of money though. To get more money you must venture around the world, going into Dungeons and taking on quests, or you can recieve money by beating Modules created by others. You can also go into other people's places as well, where you can find quests to take to get money.
You can also put quests in your village, but you cannot undertake them. They would only be able to be used by others. You will not find peoples creations on world maps or anything - you will just select them from a menu like you select module or servers from Neverwinter Nights. Once you beat a quest or get items and gold, you save it to your character.
Then you import your character back into your town to spend money to build. When you only have a village, you have a minimum amount of space to use. After you recieve a bunch of gold you can invest it into your kingdom of which you live in, to expand your village to town-size. When you have a town, you will be able to choose from more stuff to build.
For a town you can build a church and such bigger things. But to get to a city, you must earn more money, by taking on more quests and looting out more places. Once you have a city you can build temples and even barracks and forts. Also, you can build secret places, like tombs or dungeons that people can find to loot.
This would be the first game in this series. The next game made would be an expansion that allows a Story Mode to be played. You can use your character from the previous game to play in the Story Mode, then import your earnings back to your creation after beating this Expansion. The best five villages, three towns, and the best city - which Bioware will select - would be implemented into the Story Mode for replay value.
The third game, the next expansion expands the Story Mode but also expands on the online part as well. In this you can create your own Dungeons, Ruins, Towers, and other such looting places, and become the Dungeon Master to be put up on the servers.
Like Neverwinter Nights, the game would be free to play online.
