In Rise to the Top you play the role of the aprentice of one of the best fighters around. Rise to the Top is a tactical game like Final Fantasy Tactics. You hear about a compition for teams of fighters. In order to finish your training you master says to enter the contest. To start of you just get some other young local fighters that will join for free or really cheap. Later in the game you cant sign on seasoned fighters from around the would and even magic users. Basicly you go around the world fighting people. The more wins you get the higher your battle level (BL) is. If you fight teams of lower BL's you own BL goes down. There would be lots of side quests too and things to collect. Also aside from fighting humans there would still be monsters to fight, but only in dugeons so you dont have to fight while your travelingthe world. In the end you find out you have to fight your master, and his team, andthat he planned the whole thing to test you. You could also play online to battle your friends and there teams.
