This is a unique Dragonball game that follows the entire story of the Dragonball Trilogy. The first series was simply called Dragonball, which spawned the series Dragonball Z, which in turn, created Dragonball GT. This will be an action game in some respects, but you will fight using rythm and timing, like in Dance Dance Revolution.
You can use a controller or the Dance Pad in this game. You will play all the battles all the main characters encounter, and your actions will come up on screen as cinematic movies from the series if you do it right, and if you do it wrong a special movie will come up, showing you get hit and loosing health. You will learn of the story through movies from the series as well.
Just like in Dance Dance Revolution the buttons you will need to press will float upwards, and you will need to press them before they reach the top, and in correct order. You will get three tries for each part, or your health will be eliminated. You will also see your actions for every button you press.
Rythm Attack Buttons
X - Low Kick / Diamond - High Kick
Square - Left Punch / Circle - Right Punch
Sometimes, just like DDR, you will have to push some buttons at the same time. For example, if you push Diamond + Square or Circle, you will do an uppercut; if you press X + Square or Circle you will do an undercut. Also, sometimes, you will have to do intricate combos that create the supermoves, like the Kahmeha Wave, or however you spell it.
Rythm Evasion Attacks
Left - Sidesteps Lefts; Left Left - Dives Left -- Same for Right and Right Right, but will sidestep right or dive right.
Down - Step Back; Down Down - Roll Backwards
Up - Jump; Up Up - This charges forward for a surprise attack, and is not really an Evasion Attack.
In the series there is more than fighting that could be implemented into this game, and which will be - if its made. In Dragonball Z, there are the Fusion Dances. You will have to do these correctly, and they are very hard, but you have unlimited tries.
There will be three modes in this game. Story Mode is of course the normal mode. Another mode will be Survival Mode. In this you will go through a marathon of fighting all the main bosses, and you will have only three chances of errors the entire marathon - this mode will only be unlocked after beating the game. The Story Mode will have five difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme, and Impossible. Easy difficulty you will have three chances every fight and it will be slow. Normal you will have the same chances, but it will be faster. Hard you will have two chances, and it will be the same speed. Extreme, you will have two chances, but faster as well. Impossible you will have one chance and the faster speed.
The last mode is versus mode, where you can play your friends, by selecting characters to play with. To unlock characters, you will have to use them or beat them in Story Mode. I hope you like this idea. Comments and criticism I would like, to help make it better. Thanks.
