hello everyone. i wasn’t really happy with the first soulmorphisis 3 draft. it sparked alot of contraversy and in my opnion was not as good as the games that came before it. to let you all know geons are back. my original idea of jared turning into other things besides the pheonix warrior kinda clashed with his character. besides people like the summons from wish and asylum. cerebus, quzetotal the feathered serpent,wendigo,lucifer the angel of music,and astrochar the tunnel wyrm will be new geons added to the list and they’ll be classic ones as well. the game will still have the option of playing as julia or jared and at some points they’ll have to work together on certain puzzles. the levels will take place primarily in lachesis’s realm and sydney which are both in australia. lachesis’s realm has more of an enchanted twist with a changing hedge maze,checker board with illusionary realistic looking pieces ,library with flying books,a dungeon,an enchanted forest,and the school grounds foe her students. sydney will have more industrial zones like an airport,shopping center,trolley cart,subway,underground facility,sky scraper,and the famed opera house. levels unfold differently for jared and julia and some levels are special which only one or the other can access. besides geons julia and jared occasionally have helpful non player characters assist them. the play control remains primarily the same..if you can picture an adult, dark final fantasy meshed with devil may cry you get the basic flavor of my prsentation. this is all i have for now but i’ll be adding to it quite often.
soulmorphisis 3: infernal rift
long ago existed a geon called massacre. massacre believed the only way to save the world was to bring about a complete apocolypse . in the fires of war the sick cancer of the corruption would be burned away leaving the world pure and good. or so massacre believed. as time went on massacre became mad and masqueraded as a god of wrath and war called jehova. the haryn flocked to massacre’s cause and fueled him with the lives and souls they took in battle. the peaceful haryn god messiah was forgotten as they hungered more for the wealth and acquisition of land massacre provided through the crusades. no longer supplied with the precious eidolon of devout worshippers that gave him power messiah pleaded with lillith and his peaceful son eshua the prophet to put an end to massacre’s atrocities. though the pagans,silver cross haryn,and awakened superntural races fought valiantly lillith was imprisioned and eshua was crucified. still lillith and eshua passed their teachings down so their peoples could continue along the sacred path. thousands of years later jared o’sheely defeats massacre’s head paladin adam and free’s lillith from the clutches of her ex-evil husband once and for all. supernaturals and humans learn to coexist peacefully as do pagans and haryn. it’s been three years since jared and julia stopped massacre’s ressurection. together the loving couple help lachesis run the school for supernatural youngsters in australia. when a mysterious woman claiming to be massacre’s true love starts stealing the souls of lachesis’s students and the citizens of australia to create a rift to free her dark lord julia and jared must fight nightmarish creatures and push their limits to avert possible armageddon.
the first obivous change i soulmorphisis 3 is the ability to play as two individual characters. both jared and julia can use geons but other than that they are quite different. also each found geon card goes into the geon pool allowing both character’s to use them from that point on regardless of who found it first. by reading the section below you will become famaliar with how each character plays.
jared: jared is fully capable of meeting the challanges before him. somewhat stripped of his power jared must relearn his skills. as before jared learns new spirit weapons by getting runes etched onto his hand by a artmancer. this time it will be alice who fulfills this task(she’ll be described in the characters section). jared’s pheonix form can learn all its old tricks. flight,blur speed,and various flaming combo attacks will make their return. below i will go into jared’s abilities in more detail.
soul weapons:
standard blade: jared’s favorite weapon . it is average in both speed and attack power.
soul latcher chain: a spiritplasm chain that lashes out from jared’s palm it can actually steal an enemies soul force restoring jared’s health and magic.
scythe: the scythe is both powerful and quick. of all weapons it has the highest percentage rate of severing limbs and decapitating heads.
twin scimaters: the scimaters are great for fast and furious close ranged combat.
soul knuckles: when using soul knuckles jared uses various kicking and punching martial arts combos.
war hammer: a slow yet very powerful weapon that does extreme damage when it hits.
pheonix warrior abilities
blur speed: while in blur speed everything around jared slows down. while using blur speed it is very east to run under closing doors or dodge projectiles and bullets.
flight: allow jared to fly upon firery wings to higher areas.
meteor shower: meteors rain down upon all jared’s foes.
seeker fireballs: these fireballs seek enemy auras and follow a target until they hit.
rage: when enraged jared is more lickely to do critical damage to an enemy. his attacks also do triple damage.
inner fire explosion: an exploding ball of fire that erupts from jared’s aura and knocks all enemies on their backs.
julia: julia is not without her own set of special abilities. unlike jared who relies on using the pheonix warrior form and soul weapons julia calls upon her demonic heritage to grant her certain gifts. unlike jared julia does not have pistols. instead she relies on enchanted throwing knives ..in close combat julia uses demon bracers on her wrist and ankles which amplify her hand to hand attacks.. as julia adds more runes to her throwing knives and bracers they can do more things such as take on different elemental properties and even be trained to seek out enemy auras. julia is much more agile than jared but not as strong. (at least in her human form)
human form: in this form julia can use her bracers and throwing daggers and double jump. like cammille in wish julia has a kiss of death move that steels health from her enemies while turning them to dust.(she can also inhale the floating energy wisps of fallen creatures) while this ability doesn’t work on creatures it does work on massacre’s human black cross followers which you will run into throughout the game.
broodling form: in this form julia is strong and agile. the broodling form is also an excellent swimmer and burrower. the broodling form is essential for finding new areas. claws,tail,and teeth are the broodling’s main weapons.
slayer form: in this form julia is almost identical to human except she has membranic wings and horns. while in slayer form julia wields her weapons but they glow with hellfire allowing her to increase the damage of each fit. another obivous benefit is of course she can fly to higher areas.
standard: everyday normal projectiles. they do average damage.
poision: these projectiles gradually damage enemies overtime after they hit.
shard shrapnel: crystal shard projectiles that break and shatter after being fired or thrown covering a large area.
explosive: explosive projectiles that do alot of damage to larger foes.
auric seekers: auric seekers are like smart missiles and follow an enemies aura no matter where they are.
fire wrath: fire wrath projectiles glow with magic flames and do damage to ice/water based foes and undead.
ice wrath: ice wrath projectiles freeze and occasionally shatter the enemy.
electric paralysis projectile: like fire wrath projectiles electric paralysis darts do damage water based foes. they can also paralyze a foe without harming them.
spectre shot: spectre shot projectiles are the only ammunition that can harm spirits and wraiths when thrown or shot.
ghost orbs: ghost orbs float next to jared or julia and mimic the kind of ammunition they fire or throw and send it to the exact location they are aiming at.
julia's bracers: julia's bracers help her amplify her demonic gifts
by using the bracers and recieving new runes she is easily jared's equal in combat. below are some of her powers she masters over time.
shadow claws: allows julia to extend her shadow and morph it into sharp talons. when using shadow claws julia's critical fatality hit rate increases.
sporeling duplicate: when using this gift julia creates a double of herself to aid her in battle. the sporeling will act independantly from julia and guard her back until it is dispeled or takes too much damage.
viel of the unseen: allows julia to bend light around her making her nearly invisible.
ice art: all julia's punches and kicks are surronded by a freezing aura of ice.
water art: julia flows like water increasing her natural defense.
earth art: julia's combos are short but her hits are powerful.
wind art: julia moves like the wind and strikes with an occasional electric charged punch or kick. her hits are less powerful but her combos are longer.
fire art: allows julia to use her hellfire in human form. the fire art is both fast and effective.
phase shift: this allows julia to pass through certain walls.
character list: in the various areas of the game julia and jared will interact and be helped by many meaningful,deep characters. some characters are famaliar from asylum while others are brand new.
lachesis: lillith’s daughter lachesis is the beautiful sorceress queen of all australia. since asylum she and the shade elf ramcaro have become romantically involved and she’s never been happier. with the coming of the four horsemen to sydney lachesis fears for lillith’s life and the lives of her people agreeing to help jared in anyway possible. though eccentric lachesis’s magic and fighting skills are legendary.
first appearance: julia meets lachesis in the dungeon struggling to control her powers which sapphira is manipulating.
abilities: lachesis’s powers are primarily the same as lilliths including the soul blades she wields in each hand which connect and double as a staff very much like her mother’s. lachesis knows both curative and elemental magics.
lillith: the mother of all magic, lillith was freed by jared in the first game asylum . quiet and enigmatic yet kind and gentle lillith lets her daughter rule while she spends time with her beloved thomas. when lillith finds out that jehova is returning she takes up arms for the first time in thousands of years. in lillith’s mind she must protect the world before its consumed by a petty being masquerading as a god. though lillith foiled jehova’s plans once she wonders if she can do it again.
first appearance: jared meets lillith in the courtyard as she desperately tries to find her daughter lachesis.
together they face yuri for the first time.
abilities: lillith wields a soul saber of magic energy and can make another blade come out of the hilt making it a deadly staff she twirls around striking enemies with lethat accuracy. in addition lillith knows healing,ressurection,and battle magics. later lillith becomes a geon summon.
thomas: lillith’s loving husband thomas like lillith and lachesis is immortal for he is from one of the first famalies of eden. like in the last game thomas will give jared advice and save his game.
first appearance: jared meets thomas in the clock tower as he tries to tone the clock to open a secret passage into the catacombs where he believes sapphira is hiding.
abilities: thomas uses a sword cane and pistol in combat. while in your group he can slow enemies down and weaken their defense and attack power.
max: a beserker orc from the hell screamers motorcycle gang max develops a soft spot for jared and julia’s plight. heavily into weapons deals max takes it to the enemies with big guns. though loud and obnoxious at times max is a loyal friend and devout family man.
first appearance: max agrees to help julia get through the rochester highway tunnel while on his motorcycle during that time you take control as max and julia joust jedeh on his skeletal horse.
abilities: max has a bionic arm that can summon an energy blade or launch balls of plasmic energy. loyal and trustworthy max is an excellent defender.
lucian: uncle to julia lucian is a lawyer for supernatural rights. jared earned lucians admiration in the first soulmorphisis game and the two have become friends. when on the battle field the achingly beautiful incubbus prefers to use his magically enchanted scythe blood tear. lucian will help julia and jared as much as he can on their quest. along with gabriella jared helps lachesis run her school for gifted supernatural youngsters.
first appearance: julia meets lucian in the library. concerned about his niece lucian agrees to go with her.
abilities: with his scythe lucian can drain the life force of enemies to recover the health of comrades. he is also a strong attacker and defender.
gabriella: gabriella was jared’s psychologist when he was a child and the two retained a tight bond of friendship throughout the years. both a member of the illumanati and the head nurse and librarian at lachesis’s school gabriella has become extremly close to lucian as a lover. having angelic wings gabriella is an averial(race of beings portrayed as angels in the bible) and is distressed to learn her mentor sightless has fallen under massacre’s control.
first appearance: jared meets gabriella in the library. concerned about the present state of chaos she agrees to help jared track down sapphira.
abilities: gabriella is excellent at defending and healing. with her prismatic beams and holy mace she is quite effective against undead enemies as well.
darius cane: a haryn inventor darius believed his weapons would help his brethern win in a great holy war. instead all his creations brought was blood shed,death,and sorrow. ashamed darius left the elite black cross haryn and choose to be a wandering missionary. no one knows how old darius is. some believe his immortality might be a punishment for the devastation he freed upon the world. in truth darius is thomas’s brother and was from the garden of eden. when darius hears about massacre his thoughts race with revenge for it was jehova who inspired him to create devices of death and destruction. dressed as a street preacher darius arrives in sydney smoking a cigar while carrying a guitar case. “i got someting special for you false god of lies and broken promises.” patting his guitar case darius smiles and sets off towards the disturbances.
first appearance: jared meets darius at the kyron corp sky scraper. darius expresses interesting in meeting his”old friend longivus” whose name he speaks with bitter sarcasm.
abilities: darius attacks wielding his huge cross cannon(yeah i know it’s like wolf wood’s but darius was once a weapon smith so he can get away for possessing a weapon like this) once a paladin darius can heal injuries and also lessen the power of enemy spells with holy protections.
decoy: mad as a lunatic just like in the first game the android soldier decoy is back to help jared get into the right places. a master at hacking and stealth decoy is essential for some missions.
first appearance: decoy helps julia navigate through the hedge maze. he is very concerned about his beloved “mistress” lachesis whose powers have gone out of control.
abilities: decoy is agile and lethal making him both an excellent defender and attacker. possessing medic skills he can also heal small amounts of hit points.
ramcaro: lively and flamboyant ,virtue and honor guide ramcaro’s blade. the shade elf has recently fallen deeply in love with his old flame lachesis and the two are happily married. like lucian and gabriella ramcaro helps teach the students at lachesis’s school.
first appearance: ramcaro meets jared as he crosses the giant chess board in lachesis’s realm. he joins up with him in the hopes of finding his love lachesis and to find out why her magic has turned against everyone.
abilities: ramcaro is an excellent blade singer wielding his twin daggers rose and thorn with the greatest of ease. he also can cast speed and critical hit increase spells on party members to increase their performance in battle.
dingo jack: dingo jack is a tour guide for the outback and australia in general. when the four horsemen attack jack agrees to help lachesis transport people to safety. good natured and steadfast jack is always ready to lend a hand. since he lives out in the wilds jack has quite a collection of nice guns and knives on hand. definetly not an aussie to mess with! jack is good friends with max.
first appearance: dingo jack meets jared in the outback jungle telling him strange things are happening in lachesis’s territory.
abilities: dingo jack attacks with a sawed off shotgun and his bowie knife. he is an excellent defender.
oyu: though oyu masquerades as a restraunt owner she is really a beautiful ninja monster slayer. with the coming of the four horsemen oyu is convinced a great evil is involved. the young werefox will help jared in whatever way she can. oyu is especially concerned about missing children reports around sydney and believes longivus and kyron corp are responsible.
first appearance: oyu meets up with julia at the park and the kyron corp mansion for disadvantaged children as she investigates rumors of disappearing children.
abilities: oyu has valuable wind attack abilities and healing magic. she attacks primarily with shuirken and her ninja blade.
kenard belldamane: like his wife breanne kenard flies to australia to wish julia and jared luck in their engagement to marriage. however immediatly after kenard’s plane lands he realizes things are not in the right. though kenard is a vampire of ancient power the pressence he feels sends shivers througout his soul.
first appearance: julia meets kenard in the airport.
abilities: being a vampire kenard can use his speed and grace to bring down large groups of foes at once with the rapier he keeps concealed beneath his lavender trench.when in your group kenard can cast fear,weaken,and death strike against your foes.
breanne: the beautiful red haired wife of kenard is eager to see her friends in australia but like kenard she feels a negative preminition as their plane touches down at sydney’s airport. though breanne is a trained police woman and enforcer she wonders if her firery determination will be enough to meet the challanges ahead.
first appearance: breanne meets jared in the airport.
abilities able to shift into her were wolf battle form breanne is an excellent attacker and defender. when in your group breanne keeps you inspired so your attacks do more damage and score fatalties more often. she can also cast fear against the enemy.
drazen: a tough soldier and mercenary with an optimistic attitude drazen became a close friend of jared’s in the first soulmorphisis game. having seen his fair share of monsters and grotesque creatures drazen is no foreghner to adversity.
first appearance: julia meets up with drazen in sydney’s embassy building as he battles some ghouls. when julia asks why he is here drazen smiles and says he didn’t want to miss her marriage to jared.
abilities: drazen attacks using a automatic rifle and lots of grenades. his inhanced strength and speed make him an excellent attacker.
seven: a beautiful slaver seven was made by longivus to get close to jared and kill him. however the kind hearted girl ends up helping jared instead. seven attacks by using retractable bone weapons and razor sharp bone projectiles. though seven cannot speak she communicates with facial expressions and body language, like ozzy hecklemonger seven is a rare breed of living slaver. julia and jared end up adopting seven as a daughter.
first appearance: jared encounters seven in the underground kyron facility.
abilities: seven is alot like her brother klaive she is both an excellent defender and attacker but has no magic. like her sibling she uses her bone blades and bone projectiles as weapons.
klaive: a hauntingly beautiful slaver boy made to be a perfect killer. silent and calm only the anguish in his eyes tells of his torment. like sightless klaive does not enjoy the killing he does. the boy seeks an end to his existance. klaive is seven’s brother and another one of longivus‘s experiments to create the perfect slaver. klaive attacks by using bone blades that portrude from his arms. like seven klaive is adopted by jared and julia at the end of the game. overtime he even learns to find happiness and free himself from longivus’s brain washing.
abilities: mainly combative klaive attacks with his bone blades and bone projectiles.
first appearance: julia meets klaive helping oyu in the kyron mansion for disadvantaged children. after battling him for awhile julia helps the frightened boy realize she means him no harm.
alice the artmancer(character concept by alexander mclean): a beautiful albaster skinned platinum haired girl that talks in riddles and dark rhymes alice has the magic to unlock the hidden potential of jared‘s flesh runes.
by visiting alice’s soulficer shop jared can learn new spirit weapons.
glittertalon: the gold dragon ally to jared from asylum returns now running his own armory. glitter talon will offer helpful hints to jared and julia and also offer them alternative costumes that improve their stats.
the true messiah: a being of light and benevelence the true mesiah has no name for he is in the very fibers of all good beings.in times of strife the messiah sent his son eshua to earth to give them hope. but the false one jehova had eshua killed. fortunately eshua rose to ascendance and also departed the first teachings of the silver cross. appearing as a kindly black man the messiah gives jared and julia hope with his words. to let you all know...mesiah is the "real" god of the christain and jewish faiths. unfortunately since misguided fanatics and corrupt men in power give massacre their prayers messiah is weak and must rely upon jared and julia to reassume his place.
villans: every game needs good villians. in my opinion not all villians have to be evil. some just have radical views or are so eccentric they are misunderstood by everyone else. here you will find an assortment of fiends...some heartless and vile some you just can’t help feeling slightly sorry for.
yuri: yuri has the upper body and torso of a beautiful maiden but her lower body is that of a scorpion. having the powers of pestilence she can call force locusts and wasp to aid her in battle. after yuri's normal arms are broken off she grows the appendages of a preying mantis. a sadist and masochist yuri enjoys recieving pain and giving it.
cybor: cybor is a terrifying mechanical golem representing the atrocities of war. he can morph his limbs into various things such as buzzsaws and arm gaitling guns. his love of slaughtering innocents is well documented.
chargrun: chargrun resembles a giant humanoid vulture with a skull tipped staff. having the power of plague chargrun specializes in spreading disease and misery. when jared and julia fight chargrun they will suffer various status ailments until he is defeated.
jedeh: jedeh resembles a frail sickly youth and has the unholy powers of famine. jedeh wields twin chained sickles he holds in each hand and can summon rats and carrion crawlers at will. jedeh is a necrophiliac and has a love of all things dead or near death. sometimes jedeh will ride his skeletal flying horse into battle.
sapphira: sapphira is massacre's one true love. the only why she can be reunitied with him is by collecting enough souls to free him from his astral prision. having the power to spawn terrifying monsters at will sapphira is a dangerous foe. in order to save sapphira's comatose victims and return their souls jared and julia must be victorious.
sightless: a black winged averial whose eyes were removed by massacre for his defiance sightless is now manipulated against his own will to lead the four horsemen of apocolypse as the angel of death. though sightless does not wish to harm jared he has no choice but to fight him. sightless attacks using prismatic beams,tornadoes and his blue flame angelic blade.
longivus: a man tormented by his past longivus was the roman that pierced eshua's side with his sphere when the prophet was on the cross. punished to walk the earth as a cursed immortal by messiah, longivus formed the radical black cross haryn and chose to serve massacre in the hopes of becoming free to his own immortality. head of kyron which masquerades as a genetics and medical research corperation longivus has been working on making more intelligent breeds of slavers to help masscre when he returns. though he possesses some redeemable traits longivus is a very evil man that hides a horrifying beast behind his charming facade.
massacre: massacre seeks to be reunitied with his love sapphira unfortunately he's willing to end the world to do it. massacre believes through armageddon only the strong and worthy souls will survive and they will create a utopia of peace and progress. though his philosphies may have merit masscre is a mad maniacal dillusioned soul that believes the ends justify the means.
another thing added to soulmorphis 3 is the bounty system and glitter talons armory. pretty much with the bounty system you help dingo jack "tag" drail,baby dragons, and broodlings by capturing them non harmfully in the outback jungle . the more varieties of creatures you tag and study the more bounty points you earn. bounty points can also be earned slaying standard monsters in all the missions. bounty points not only buy jared and julia new upgrades from alice's soulficer shop but they also can help them buy alternative costumes in glitter talons armory. each alternative costume makes jared and julia look different and effects their defense,offense,speed,and endurance. below are the costumes.
jared
trench with red flames: a flashier looking chain link trench coat that increases jareds defense against physical attacks.
hood and cape: a more mysterious look for jared the hood and cape increases jared's resistance to magic and makes him faster.
recovery armor: sleek black armor jared wares underneath his trench that counteracts poision and disease ailments by gradually healig hit points.
trench of many colors: a trench coat that learns to change colors. each color makes jared slightly resistant to different elemental attacks.
shades: dark tinted magically inhanced sunglasses that allow jared to see things that he usaully could not before.
last resort karate gi: when waring this sleeveless brown karate gi jareds attacks will do insane amounts of damage as his life bar reaches critical.
julia
g string and bikini top: makes julia quicker and more resistant to non elemental magics.
chain link halter top and skirt: decreases the damage of physical attacks upon julia.
green elfen hood and cape: counteracts posion and disease ailments by gradually healing julia's hit points.
body paint suit: magic body paint that doubles as armor when applied to julia's skin. the body paint can change colors and makes julia more immune to certain elemental attacks.
magic shades: the same as jared's they allow julia to see things she normally couldn't before.
desperado fishnet night gown: when waring her revealing black fishnet night gown, fishnet stockings,and gloves julia’s attacks will start doing insane amounts of damage as her life bar gets closer to critical.
geons: as i said before geons are making a come back. while it is not absolutely necessary you collect every geon to beat the game they still come in handy when things seem overwhelming. for those unfamaliar with what geons are let me explain. geons are the primal essences of the universe. some represent strong emotions while others represent sacred elements. a true enlightened soul can summon geons to aid him or her in battle.
quezetotal: quezetotal is the winged feathered serpent of storms. he primarily attacks by causing storms and striking enemies with lightning and heavy gust of rain. when called forth he can be an excellent defense against fire magic.

wendigo: wendigo is the spirit of harsh unrelenting winter. howling wind storms,razor sharp claw strikes,and ice shards are his main attacks. like quzetotal wendigo defends from fire attacks.

tiamat: having the upper body of a beautiful woman and the lower body of a centipede tiamat may look like a fiend but in reality she protects and nurtures the earth. tiamat attacks by causing earth quakes and flooding enemies with hot lava from the core of the earth. she can protect against earth and water based magics including ice. also with her around non elemental magics like fear,deathstrike,and life drain are less likely to work on jared or julia.

lucifer: lucifer is the angel of music who chose to be on earth rather than be ruled by the rigid restrains of heaven. lucifer incites fear in the enemy with his dark chorus and makes julia and jared’s attcks score more critical damage. when lucifer is in your party he protects against certain non elemental magics like life drain,death strike,pain dart,and poision.

ozzy and la he he: the two jesters one dark and sardonic the other cheerful and hyper make their return as geon helpers. ozzy throws bladed cards at the enemy while la he he hits them with her jester’s cane and mauls them under giant bouncing dice. with ozzy and la he he in your group the enemy will suffer random status ailments.

cerebus: the three headed dog guardian of hades cerebus makes his first appearance in soulmorphisis 3. cerebus can breath fire and generally grab enemies up into his jaws and rip them into pieces. when cerebus trounces around nearby jared and julia are protected against fire and earth elemental attacks and the fear status.

gunthar and the spectral knights: gunthar the undead soul knight and his spectral battalion have protected lachesis through generations. in addition to being able to use death strike on enemies and increase jared and julia’s resistance to non elemantal magics gunthar and his soldiers can damage wraiths and ghosts.

jabberwoky: the jabberwoky is a good boggie man of sorts that protects children when they sleep. appearing as a floating cape and cowl jabberwoky casts various status ailments on the enemy and can make jared and julia score more critical hits.

nightsavior: jeremy has somewhat mastered his symbiotic relationship with nightsavior. returning as a geon summon jeremy and nightsavior are power houses when it comes to physical attacks and can protect jared and julia from in coming spells and projectiles.

excalibur: excalibur the floating soul blade returns from asylum. having the ability to spawn additional swords to combat enemies excalibur can also absorb harmful magic spells directed at jared and julia and transfer the energy as recovery to their life and magic bars.

xandorf the watcher: xandorf is a beholder(beholders are floating sphere shaped creatures with many stalks on them ending in eyes and one huge eye in their center and a large maw of sharp teeth) and is the only geon that can deflect enemy attacks back at them. xandorf makes julia and jared almost completly immune to fear and weaken spells.

in edition to being able to cast EVERY spell at random she slices and dices with her soul saber. with lillith in your party all magic abilities used against enemies are amplified and magic attacks used against jared and julia greatly lessen in power.

mordred: jared’s dark persona who is also the bastard knight of the round table returns as a geon. when jared calls upon mordred they shift dimensions allowing you to take control of mordred for a brief time. while jared recovers health in the other dimension. riding a black mechanical panther morded attacks using his soul seeker magic arrows and radically powerful energy soul blade.

enemies: ok guys get ready. soulmorphisis 3 has a huge cast of enemies. more than any other soulmorphisis game you will find yourself in the deep when it comes to creature encounters. also enemies are no longer restricted to physical attacks. magic has been figured into their powers and they now have more select strengths and weaknesses.
atrocities: atrocities are mutations and grotesque monsters. you will find them primarily in industrial zones ,massacre’s realm, and kyron corp facilities
pain dancers: pain dancers are once human animated corpses that have various disturbing body piercings and inserted weapons showing from their bodies. agile and fast they will use their arsenal of weapons freely.
gorku: a gorku is a giant lumbering monstrocity with multiple moaning heads and appendages. each head breaths a posionous cloud of gas and each arm ends with some kind of gruesome weapon where the hands should be.
winged slaver: stealthy agile horrors that actually have webbing under their arms allowing them to glide short distances and fall silently.
spinal snake: another undead monstrocity the spinal snake is composed of a human head and a spinal chord that moves like a snake. fortunately these are easy to kill and can only bite.
visceral stalker: a skinless horror of dripping sinew that moves on all fours and hunts its prey. beware its lashing razor sharp tongue.
flesh golem: a grisly creature sewn together from the body parts of many corpses. they are dangerously strong but fortunately very slow.
slaver pirahna: giant pirahna argumentated by the blackest arts of genetics. jared and julia will have to fight these horrors in some of the water stages.
slaver devourer: a cross between human,shark,and amphibian dna these creatures can travel on both land and water. beware their claws and teeth.
visceral knights: knight sewn together with sinewy armor these immortal tormented legionares are massacre’s personal guard. agile and strong beware their black blades.
sith wraith: once beautiful women the sith wraiths were punished for not worshipping massacre. now they seek only to cause pain to others. agile and lethally quick with their claws they are hard to kill.
eye daggers: floating daggers with living blinking eyes inseted into their hilts these daggers hunger to plunge themselves into living hearts.
mind crawlers: magic centipedes which crawl into ones mouth and latch onto the brain making the person into a violent,mindless puppet. kill these whenever you see them.
enchanted enemies: enchanted enemies are exclusively found in lachesis’s realm. they fall under three categories...animates,spirits, and elementals. animates are flying spell books,moving suits of armor,moving plants,walking furniture,skeletal moving bone cages and various golems. elementals have some sort of elemental property...ice pixies,fire salamanders, animated rock titans,water dryads,wind howlers, and storm eels are all examples of elemental creatures while wraiths,lich’s,and ghosts fall under spirits. below i will go into more detail on their attacks and weaknesses.
flying spellmiser: found in lachesis’s library these flying books can cast a variety of annoying spells. physical and fire attacks work the best against these books gone bad.
walking bone cage: walking bone cages look like giant skeletal spides with cages of bones on their backs. when put in a bone cage julia and jared will start losing health as the creature uses the drain essences to restore its own hitpoints. strong physical attacks can break you free .
dancing candle man: dancing candlemen are animated candle holders that dance gregariously and use their candle flames to try and heat things up for the heroes. physical and ice attacks do the trick against these foes.
leaping table: a moving table that jumps at jared and julia to throw them off guard. physical and fire attacks work well against leaping tables.
scare crow: scare crows are golems lachesis uses in her gardens. though usaully docile they have become considerably more unfriendly of late. fire attacks work well against scare crows.
animated armor(soldier): standard animated armor that brandishes a sword or axe.
animated armor(musket shooter): these animated suits of armor shoot at jared and julia with magically preserved muskets.
animated armor(knight): knights are bigger than soldier armors and carry a ball in chain. like most armors lightning attacks work well against them.
fire imp: fire imps have acess to all fire spells and fly around jabbing and stabbing with their pitch forks. physical and ice attacks will put them in their place.
fire salamander: resembling large red lizards with flaming eyes and a fire tipped tail fire salamanders are vicious in combat but are weak against ice magic and physical attacks.
fury bomb: fury bombs look like gigantic inflated red heads with enraged facial expressions. beware when they explode.
fire breathing basilisk skull: fire breathing basilisk skulls are set in various areas as traps for intruders. dodge their flames and use physical attacks to destroy them.
grass man(enemy concept by aleander mclean): grass men are living hulking mounds of grass rock and dirt. grassmen regenerate quickly and are immune to most magics. the only way to beat them down are with strong physical attacks.
ice sprite: ice sprites fly around on glossamar wings and can cast most ice based spells. obivously fire works well against them.
winter dryad: winter dryads are hauntingly beautiful and are alot stronger than ice sprites. fire works well against them but beware their ice prision technique.
ice imp: the ice imp is more agressive than the ice sprite but is weak against fire as well.
poison toad: these large toads are poison to the touch but physical attacks handle them quickly.
toad lord: these giant toads use their giant lashing tongue as a whip. use powerful physical attacks when dealing with these.
goblin(bomber): mischiefous goblins that toss bombs. sometimes they accidently blow themselves up as well.
goblin(makeshift steam powered mech rider) these goblins ride around in small wooden mechs powered by steam. use strong physical attacks to hack them down to size.
goblin(suicidal warrior): goblins that attack you with clubs and crossbows not caring about their personal safety in the slighest.
goblin(on glider): goblins that ride gliders and drop rocks upon your head. jump up and slash at them.
flower dryad: giant flowers that open up revealing beautiful but lethal women inside. beware their poison touch and razor sharp wind carried seeds.
fly trap: a giant venus fly trap that eats people(get in my belly!) nuff said.
sentinent ed unit: ed units like ed 27 that are practically walking tanks. sneak around them when you can unless your suicidal.
floating laser crystal: crystals that fire down beams of concentrated light energy. shatter them with physical attacks.
intelligent blob: intelligent blobs have different colors and the color usaully indicates the magic they are weak against. intelligent blobs can cast life drain freely.
mage master golem: mage master golems look sorta like vivi from final fantasy 9. green ones cast lightning and wind,red ones cast fire spells,and blue ones cast ice spells.
wind howler: wind howlers are majestic white wolves that can summon tornadoes and wind storms with their howling.
flying storm eel: much like the electric eel found in the ocean except these fly and weave gracefully through the air. beware their storm based attacks.
land squid: another weird mutation because of the awakening the land squid glides gracefully along the land casting wind,lightning,and water based spells.
wraith: wraiths cannot be harmed by most physical attacks and can freely cast fear,life drain,and pain arrow.
spectre shot and julia’s shadow claws work well against wraiths.
lich: liches are skeletal looking spirits that can cast death strike,weaken,and fear. be very careful when facing them and use spectre shot and the shadow claw ability often.
animated skeleton: animated skeletons carry a variety of weapons and are surprisingly agile. pummel them with physical attacks
ghost: ghost are the weakest of spirits and often use their telekinetic ability to toss a variety of lethal objects your way. use spectre shot and shadow claws often.
jungle critters: dinosaurs,dragons,and the chitinous hided drail are all indigenous to australia due to the awakening. most jungle creatures are animals with various magics that help them hunt and survive. when captured alive in the bonus hunting games they can net jared or julia tons of bounty points.
drail(worker) drail workers have a tough chitinous hide and are renowned for their leaping ability. since they are on the endangered species list killing them causes you to lose bounty points while tagging them alive and naming them earns you bounty points.
drail(warrior): the drail warrior is fast and tough. capturing one is difficult but it can be done. as with the drail worker beware their head butt charge which also does more damage than a standard worker’s.
drail(queen): the drail queen is majestic and beautiful. drail queens have long graceful necks and hammer head like heads unlike the drail worker and warrior the drail queen is a quadrapad and looks very closely related to a dragon. some drail queens even have membranic wings. tagging a drail queen can net you major bounty points but be warned they are known to be more intelligent than most humans. drail queens can cast fear,death strike,and weaken.
crimson back raptor: the crimson back raptor has crimson stripes going down its back and is very rare. must raptors travel in packs so be careful when tagging them. the crimson backed raptor attacks with its jaws and toe talons.
thunder hawk: the thunder hawk is a majestic blue hawk that can cast lightning based attacks. though they are agile flyers they can be tagged and captured.
t-rex: normal t - rexes by this point in soulmorphisis chronology are no longer an endagered species in australia though they can still be tagged and captured for study.killing one will not penalize you but will reward you less bounty points then capturing one.
basilisk: the basilisk resembles a six legged smaller version of a dragon. basilisks have venomous fangs,spiked tails and as in the ancient myths can turn people to stone with its eye beams(getting turned to stone counts as game over boys and girls) basilisk can be killed but they net more bounty points when captured alive.
tasmanian critter: furry bundles of teeth and spite these cute lil monsters can make tornadoes by spinning really fast. very rare they can net you alot of bounty points when they are captured.
tasmanian wolf: tasmanian wolves are very rare and travel in small packs. most can cast weaken and have a mean bite attack though they are usaully non agressive. because they are endangered killing them decreases your bounty points but if you capture them you are rewarded quite handsomely.
ultrasaur(creature by alexander mclean): the ultrasaur has a near impenetrable hide, a ridgerd back, and bone crunching maws. unlike the t-rex it walks on all fours. since the ultrasaur can cast strengthen on itself and death strike so it is very dangerous to face directly. since they are rare capturing and tagging one can get you alot of bounty points.
sporevin: sporevins are carniverous mushroom men that can cast poison,weaken,and beserk. since they are numerous killing thm is expected and appreciated.
fire mage dancing flower: these dancing flowers cast fire based spells. use ice based attacks.
ice mage dancing flower: these flowers cast ice based magic. use fire attacks.
lightning mage dancing flower : these flowers cast lightning and wind. use physical attacks.
blood worm: bloodworms have not changed from the first game. like in asylum they are big and flesh eating and can burrow up from under the ground. use powerful physical attacks to make short work of them.
baby dragons: dragons are the rarest of creatures. though baby dragons are agile and elusive they can be captured.. a baby dragons color determines the kind of elemental magic it uses. fun loving baby dragons love playing pranks.
broodlings: baby demons are not rare in and of themselves but it is still cruel and against the law to kill one.
by tagging broodlings you can reunite them with their clans. quick,clever,and inginutive broodlings often work together to outsmart trappers so beware.
undead and humans: i’ve found in my personal experiences the worst monsters can be human . longivus’s black cross cronies will be listed here as well as standard undead such as ghouls and zombies.
ghoul: ghouls are carnivorous baleful eyed undead that feed on human flesh. quick and strong they can be a burden when they travel in packs. fire has been known to scare ghouls.
zombie: slow lumbering undead that also feed on human flesh. fire based attacks work exceptionally well on them.
cackler: cacklers are humans in the first stages of becoming ghouls. agile and furious they vomit posion blood and attack with their claws.
wight: wights are like ghouls except they can use magic. beware their life drain and pain arrow attacks.
black cross beserker(power armor knight): these fanatic knights ware power armor that inhances their strength. most carry gaitling guns,energy blades,and flame throwers.
black cross warrior nun: these women of massacre dress as warrior nuns and attack like assassins. beware their death strike ability and weaken spells.
black cross mercenary: black cross mercenaries are regular joes that carry more rudimentary weapons like hand guns and assault rifles. in large numbers they can still be dangerous.
black cross activist: these suicidal maniacs attack you with bombs strapped to them or with knives. take them out from a distance.
infectent: people with inhanced strength that act out of violence due to the mind crawlers living inside their skulls.
reaper mech driver: the reaper mecha makes its return from asylum complete with its spinning sickle hands and lumbering strength. try killing the drivers to stop them quickly. some reapers have additional gaitling guns and missiles.

spells enemies may use: below are the descriptions of some spells enemies may cast on you or use on themselves.
non elemental
life drain: drains your health while restoring the enemy’s health who casted the pell.
telekinetic strike: allows an enemy to toss inanimate objects your way.
weaken: weakens the attack power of your whole group. your attacks just aren’t as strong.
beserk: you go into a blind rage attacking friend and foe alike.
pain arrow: causes you excruciating pain slowing down your movements.
death strike: when an enemy uses this ability successfully in an attack you are dead automatically.
stone: works like death strike but turns you to stone.
fear: when suffering the fear ailment you cannot attack enemies at all.
elemental
fire ball: a standard fireball launched your way.
fire snake: serpents of flame that attack you until destroyed.
meteor: rains small chunks of meteor down upon you and your group.
ice prision: you are temporarily frozen in a cocoon of ice. during this time you slowly lose health points.
ice blast: a standard sub zero ball of ice that damages you win it strikes.
ice shard: a sharp icle shard that strikes you with more power than an ice blast.
lightning orb: orbs of lightning that float above you shocking you until they are destroyed.
lightning strike: standard arch of lighning that strikes you with fource.
lightning chain: chains of electric energy that immobilize your movement and gradually drain your health bar until they are shaken off.
tornado: a strong wind storm that causes debri to strike you and tosses you into the air.
tidal wave: a crashing typhoon of water that greatly reduces your hit points.
strengthen: when casting this upon themselves enemies do more damage with their attacks.
magi shield: when enemies cast this on themselves all your magic based attacks do less damage.
walk throughs: in this section i will describe the walk throughs for both jared and julia. primarily the game has three main chapters. each chapter has a series of areas. within these areas jared and julia will meet helpful characters and collect random geon cards. if i was to compare soulmorphisis 3 to any game as a whole i’d say it would resemble a more adult looking kingdom hearts. jared and julia can have up to two supporting characters at all times in addition to being able to call their geons. also like kingdom hearts the battles are live action (but alot more bloody). you can set supporting characters as being aggressive towards enemies or more defensive in which case they guard more and keep you steadily supplied with healing magic(if they have healing as a speciality). julia and jared will both meet it up with different characters because both their scenarios unfold slightly differently. below is just a brief flow of how things will work.
chapter 1: chaos at the tower
supporting characters: decoy,ramcaro,gabriella,lucian,lillith,thomas,lachesis,dingo jack
areas: checker board,hedge maze,grave yard, school grounds,courtyard,library,dungeon,catacombs,clock tower,enchanted forest,out back jungle
main themes: in this scenario lachesis has lost control of her magic and her realms defenses have been turned against her friends. gathering supporting characters jared and julia must fight there way through this modern enchanted realm and face sapphira. after her first defeat sapphira mentions being one of lillith’s sisters and turned her daughter lachesis’s magic against her to prove that lillith is not as safe as she thinks.
chapter 2: hell on earth:
supporting characters: max,dingo jack,darius,oyu,seven,klaive,drazen,breanne,kenard
areas: opera house,rochester highway tunnel,sewers,subway,trolley cart,parking lot,abandoned streets,kyron corp sky scraper,kyron corp under ground facility,morgue, kyron corp mansion for disadvantaged children,embassy building, sydney mall,
main themes: with sapphira threatening lillith’s family jared and julia realize her minions will most likely start attacking australia’s capital city sydney out of spite. in addition to battling the four horse men at various stages julia and julia learn of kyron corp and longivus kidnapping adopted children to use them in research in order to develop a new breed of slavers. the monsters in sydney are undead and genetic nightmares.
chapter 3: “it all ends here....”

areas: aboriginal burial mound,astral plane, inside the beast atrocity,massacre’s chamber
main theme: the aboriginals have always been a peaceful and shamanic people. long ago they combinded their magic with lillith’s and lachesis’s to seal massacre away. as jared and julia step onto aboriginal holy ground they must stop sapphira from casting open the gateway that holds massacre prisioner. though sapphira is defeated again the tare she leaves is large enough to free her dark lover to escape. with their friends jared and julia must enter massacre’s living organic war machine atrocity and destroy him once and for all....
geon list: depending on who you play as depends on which geons you find first. below is a rudimentary list of which characters find what geons. however after the geons are found both characters can use them freely. have fun playing through as both jared and julia to collect them all!

chapter one
out back jungle: the outback jungle is where jared’s quest begins. later it becomes an interactive area both julia and jared can use to catch creatures and earn bounty points. be sure to find the quezetotal geon card at the bottom of the marsh pool. broodlings may or may not be in the pool for you to fight. as dingo jack pulls up in his jeep to give jared some news they are attacked by yuri for the first time. watch out for her swarms of wasp and scorpion tail. after a brief skirmish yuri retreats seeming to have only want to distract jared from a greater threat.
checker board: dingo jack can go no futher than the checkerboard which is one of lachesis’s automated defense systems. while traversing the black and white tiles jared will have to dodge traps set in patterns and fight dangerously realistic holograms of animated chess pieces. ramcaro will gladly lend his services but it will still be a hard pressed battle. be sure to accquire the ozzy and la he he card before you leave.
courtyard: in the courtyard jared and ramcaro meet lillith searching for her daughter. here yuri will attack again but this time you can lure her into some of the towers laser light defenses. have lillith cast cure on jared often and set ramcaro on the offensive.
graveyard: the graveyard is where jared can accquire gunthar’s spectral knight card. beware wraiths , liches,and ghosts.
school grounds: after taking a quick short cut through the graveyards morgue jared,lillith,and ramcaro end up in the schoolyards basement. make your way through the different floors and protect the children who are being attacked by creatures.
library: besides for battling pesky spellmisers and other animated objects jared will encounter gabriella as lillith leaves your group to look for her daughter in the dungeon . together with ramcaro and gabriella you must solve a few puzzles to open up the passage to the clock tower. be sure to collect the xandorf the watcher card.
clocktower: the clock tower is besieged by goblins and other lil nasties. be careful not to get caught into the gears and make it to the top where thomas is waiting. at this point you can have thomas join your group but you will have to switch out another character to do so.
the catacombs: in the catacombs jared and his friends will have to navigate a series of tunnels and combat more monsters. coming across sapphira they learn lillith is sapphira’s sister whom hurt lachesis to teach her sibling a bitter lesson. sapphira will cast evolution on the rats around her turning them into deadly were rats. hack at the were rats but beware sapphira’s spiritplasm blasts. after being defeated sapphira stops floating around and vanishes leaving jared with cryptic words. be sure to colleect the astrochar card before you leave.
chapter 2
trolley ride:taking a trolley into sydney, jared and his friends worry about sapphira spreading her influnce to the city. while in the trolley jared is attacked by chargrun who lands on the roof. the trolley’s people are turned into ghouls and jared must navigate around them and confront chargrun on the roof of the trolley. chargrun will try his best to knock jared and his friends off the trolley. as with all battles with chargrun jared will suffer status ailments such as poison and weaken. if you have attained auric seeker bullets from one of alice’s soulficer booths use them here. as with yuri chargrun will escape to fight you again another day.
park: the park is another interactive level julia and jared share. in the outer regions you can talk to people that reveal more about missing children and certain aspects of the kyron corperation which seems to have its hands in everything from genetic reserach to over the counter medications. the park also has a rift gate that allows julia and jared to revisit any level in the game! by doing this they can rack up more on bounty points.
airport: getting a distress call from the airport jared must fight through ghouls and cacklers in the parking lot. at this point breanne can join your party but you’ll have to switch her off with someone else. battling chargrun is tough. the airfield leaves you with plenty of room but a helicopter of black cross followers with automatic machine guns and heat seeking missiles will aid chargrun by attacking you. the trick here is luring chargrun into the cross hares of his black cross cronies. have the enemy somewhat work for you. if you down chargrun before the chopter he will die on the spot. interesting enough though if you take down the chopter first it’ll crash into chargrun cutting him into pieces with its blade.
kyron sky scraper: the rumors in the park are too ominous for jared to ignore. kyron corp has got to be connected with the missing children’s report one way or another. here you can get darius as another helper. beware kyron’s automated security. when battling cybor at the heli-pad bait him into hitting the supports for the water tower with his buzz saws. if done right the water tower ill collapse and wash him over the side. be sure to get the ed 27 geon card
sewer: from gathering information from the kyron corp data base jared formulates a plan to get into their underground facility by using the sewers as a short cut. besides for fighting zombies and ghouls jared will have to swim through some areas while avoiding slaver devouers and slaver pirahnas. here you will fight yuri for the last time in the tunnels. you can damage her directly or choose to bait her into hitting weakened areas of the sewer which causes debri to fall on her.
underground kyron corp facility: longivus has set up a carnival of nightmares for jared to face. within the underground facility are some of the hardest puzzles and toughest monsters. when fighting longivus jared will face him in a holographic arena with real traps. it is possible to lure longivus into the flame throwers,spinning fans,and machin gun fire. after being totrn up bad in his human form longivus will become a hideous winged bat like monstrocity. use auric bullets to hit him from anywhere. when you hit the eight switches from around the arena an incenerator beam will burn longivus to ashes and trigger a self destruct protocol. make it out quick.
opera house: the angel of death sightless is holding people hostage at the opera house. taking our a barge to the area jared must fight black cross activist. snag the lucifer geon card than battle sightless. after jared fatally wounds the averial he thanks jared for freeing him from massacre‘s evil..
chapter 3
aboriginal burial ground: the aboriginal burial mound is a maze like spiral filled with elemental enemies and guardin spirits. jared will have darius,kenard,and breanne to choose from for helpers. after traversing the spiral fight sapphira in her heightened winged form. beware her death strike and astral waves. use gabriella in your group to ressurect and heal if you have her. get the messiah card than move on.
astral plane: the astral plane is a realm reflecting some of jared’s memories. everything in this realm is a twisted representation of jared’s desires and fears and the enemies are powerful. travel to the black castle on the hill than battle jared’s darkside mordred. after being defeated mordred will become one of jared’s geons.
inside atrocity: to picture atrocities insides imagine you are a micro organism a giant body. the enemies which are grotesque monsters play the roll of white blood cells and they will try to stop you from reaching atrocities heart. defeating the heart is hard but fortunately you have some of your best geons to dish out the punishment.
massacre’s chamber: massacre’s chamber looks like a twisted chapel with bleeding walls and a reversed cross. beware his doom blade and various projectiles. massacre has more patterns than other enemies but he can still be figured out. after your victorious massacre’s blade will spin in the air than fall impaling him. congradulations! you can now view the ending.
other mechanics of the game
area map: the area map gets larger as you explore more of a level.
realm map: when accessing numerous checkpoints you can do various things such as visit alice’s soulficer shop,glitter talon’s armory,and bring up the realm map. the realm map allows you to revisit levels you have already completed. by clearing out respawning monsters you can rack up more on bounty points. though you can blaze straight through the game the realm map allows you to back track and pick up any secrets you may have missed.
game +: allows you to play the game again with all the equipment and abilities you unlocked from the previous time you beat it.
julia’s walk through
chapter 1
enchanted woods: while relaxing in the enchanted forest julia gets a haunting preminition something is wrong. as she walks on elemental creatures and animated plants start attacking her. use this time to earn bounty points and also be sure to get the wendgo card located in the weeping willow tree.
hedge mage: to get through the hedge maze julia will have to pull levers to get it to shift differently allowing her to acess different doors. decoy will meet up with julia here and become her first helper. before acessing the graveyard julia will be attacked by cybor. use the hedges to hide from him than sneak attack him when he is looking in the opposite direction. decoy will madly attack cybor regardless. after he is defeated cybor will stagger off. be sure to snag the jaberwoky geon card before you go.
graveyard: the graveyard has no bosses just pesky spirits. be sure to get the cerebus card behind the angel hades statue than move on.
library: in the library julia meets her uncle lucian who tells her lachesis’s powers have been turned against herself and her friends. as with jared julia must fight animated spell books and dancing candlemen while solving puzzles which open up a hidden passage to the dungeon.
dungeon: in the dungeon julia will have to fight animated skeletons and elemental imps. she will find lachesis tied up sobbing in one of the old prision cells. through lucian and julia’s loving words lachesis gets some of her confidence back. you can have lachesis as a helper and lucian leaves your group saying he has matters to attend to. cybor will attack again but with lachesis and decoy supporting you you should be able to make short work of him.
catacombs: the catacombs are identical to jared’squest and sapphira will attack in the same manner. have decoy attack head on while lachesis casts curative spells. instead of finding astrochar julia will find the tiamat card.
chapter 2
rochester tunnel: like jared julia is concerned sapphira’s appearance means trouble for the city. rather than take the trolley julia takes her porsh down the rochester tunnel. strangely cars are piled up and julia has to walk the rest of the dark forboding tunnel by foot. ghouls,cacklers, and zombies will immediatly attack. after trudging on for awhile julia heres gun fire and encounters max who can join as a helper. after helping the orc down a few wights max gets on his hog and offers julia a ride through the rest of the tunnel. before the two reach the light and safety of the tunnel’s exit however jedeh attacks on his skeletal horse. here you will take control of max’s bike and joust jedeh,doing damage to him on each pass. after being defeated jedeh flies off on his hellish steed promising you will meet him again. before makes takes off alucian’s pet raven allastor drops a envelop at julia’s feet. within it is his geon card.
park: in lucian’s scenario the park was serene and calm. not so here. julia meets up with yuri attacking some citizens. yuri has a pattern of charging out at you from different trees. oyu, a beautiful kitsune ninja will join the fray offering you her help. after yuri is defeated oyu expresses concern over disappearing children who were once apart of kyron’s mansion for disadvantaged children. also be sure to collect woodweva’s card next to the biggest oak tree in the park.
kyron mansion: here julia and oyu will learn about kyron corps connection with the black cross and their experimentation to create the perfect slavers by using orphaned children. here julia finds a frightened klaive and can get him as a helper but will have to switch off one of her other characters. while fighting chargrun in the boiler room in the attic lure him into the steam leaks to cause him more harm. don’t forget the nightsavior card before you leave.
embassy building by harbor: here julia will meet up with jared’s old friend drazen who just got up a ship from germany to attend their soulfasting union ceromony. it was drazen who called in a distress call after the embassy staff were turned into ghouls and other undead. in this level jedeh attacks on foot using his chained sickles. he can also summon other undead so be careful. before dying jedeh tells julia she’ll never destroy his master.
opera house: cybor is holding people hostage at the opera hose. when battling him bait him into hotting some of the support beams. after doing this for awhile half the roof will collapse on cybur and a huge shard of debri will impale his chest.
airport: at the airport alot of people have died from a horrible plague. julia knows chargrun is behind it. here julia can get kenard as a helper character but well have to switch him off with someone else. in this level chargrun will be in a giant blimp planning to spread his virus over the whole city. get on the blimp as it takes off than take the fight to this evil buzzard. after the battle chargrun will try flying off but since one of his wings was injured during the fight he plummets to his death.
chapter 3
aboriginal burial mound this level is the same as it was for jared except julia can choose lachesis,oyu,and kenard as helper characters. after defeating sapphira julia will get the helpful fenir card.
astal plane: julia’s memories are of her father and uncles beautiful yet terrifying kingdom. while here she must battle powerful creatures and navigate the paths of her desires and nightmares. after walking through a maze made of bone thorns and pulsating sinew julia will battle a dark version of lillith and win her as a geon card by earning her adoration and respect
inside atrocity: primarily the same as jared’s mission except julia battles atrocities brain instead of its heart. though the brain has different attach patterns it is no harder to beat than the heart. destroy it than open the door to massacre’s chamber.
massacre’s chamber: the same battle as it was for jared. defeat this lord of darkness to save your world and view the ending..
the ending: i’m not great at this ending stuff. but one thing i know for sure. jared and julia have been happily engaged for 3 years. they had made plans to get soulfasted(soulfasting is sorta like marriage) right before sapphira struck australia with the four horsemen. first of all julia and jared’s wedding would not be a typical one. remember that julia’s family are demons. one ritual would include jared and julia cutting their palms than sharing their blood by holding hands(this takes the place of the ring. yeah i know it’s kinda extreme but remember your dealing with another culture that isn’t even human) there would be a long passionate kiss and guess characters from the other soulmorphisis games at the reception. the honeymoon would unfold slightly different depending on who you are when you beat the game but both jared and julia’s versions are happy. i realize this may seem corny to you people that like cliff hanger endings or endings that have a darker twist but i think my characters deserve some peace of mind after the horrors they have faced.
