A couple of months ago, there was a murder, mine. The man who did it is named Creed. I just got in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had done some pretty bad things to certain members of my family, so I came to repay the favor. Unfortunately, his boys where with him, and I ended up like swiss cheese.
I woke up in a blue haze, swirling around me. I wasn't in either place, limbo. It was worse, being denied either fate, I don't know how he did it, but this has to be his fault.
Though, I wasn't completely gone, a voice began to speak to me. I only remember this though, "To defeat a monster, become one." A bright flash enveloped me and I awoke in my bed, alive.
Present:
"This is a news bulletin, a ...monster has been seen fleeing the seen of a mass murder of members of the Blood bullet gang. It has been described as resembling a wolf, with bluish-white fur. Any information on this incedent will be graciously accepted."
Controls:
Jump: x button
attack: box or circle buttons
talk: L1 button
get in a vehicle: R2 button
transform: R1 button(when gauge is full)
This is where the game starts. You will begin in an apartment building, and when you go outside an objective will be explained, and the rest will follow from there.
Now, the main objective of the game is to find and kill Creed. There are many other things to do and places to see, though(it is a city that is free-roaming).Like, you can return a lost child, catch a guy who took a purse, or if the conditions are right, even kill somebody. These bonous activities will also have rewards in different amounts. The highest amount will come from killing someone, next is returning a child, then returning a purse. These rewards come in handy, because for combat with gangs and such, you need ammo for you're guns. Don't worry though, if you run out of ammo you have a long, steel pipe as a default weapon.
To get to Creed, defeat gangs( You will have to go through many battles to defeat a gang) in different areas of the city, and afterwards, they will give you some information about him.
I mentioned a monster in the begining and a transformation ability in the controls, so I'll get to him. When the Marcus( the main character) was thrown out of limbo he was given the ability to turn into a type of werewolf. This doesn't occur at night, but when you fill a gauge during combat. A transformation will last to the end of a fight, and most of you're attacks are lethal, but you can be facing up to 100 enemies throughout the fight. Don't get caught in a corner or you might not come out.
There's another thing you can do with this, you will be given a chart that tells you when a full moon comes along, and when this happens, the results are amazing. You will go from bluish-white to reddish-black and you're attacks are much stronger( You can take out several enemies at once with a single blow). These transformations will begin automatically at the full-moon night, and will continue until morning.
Now, for Creed.
When Marcus finally defeats all of the gangs, he now has enough information to find Creed. Where? The large church in the next city. One problem, the entire city he's in begins to be attacked. Buildings burn, cars explode, and now a voice resembling Creed's begins to boom in the air. It's speaking to Marcus. Telling him it is useless and he should give himself up. Marcus ignores this and continues on.
Many of the vehicles have been destroyed, so when you aquire a vehicle, try to keep it intact. Why? Now there are things resembling demons roaming around, and they'd like nothing better than to kill you, so watch it. Along the trip, Marcus will begin to see visions being thrust into his mind by Creed. They are of his family, suffering because of Creed's actions. Finally, in a fit of rage, Marcus turns into the reddish-black werewolf, plows through a herd of demons, and makes a leap into the next city.(that's a cutscene.) You enter the church. Creed, now in a form of a black demon with large bat wings, is standing in front of the pedestal. A heated conversation begins, then the ultimate fight insues.
Don't expect to beat this on your first try. Creed is extremely powerful despite that you're now the reddish-black werewolf.(you don't have a transformation gage either.) Creed can jump up and run along walls and is rather fast. The enviornments are also destroyable, so if you grab Creed, fling him into a wall or seat for some additional damage, just don't let it happen to you. When you manage to defeat Creed he falls to the floor. Marcus, still in werewolf form, charges him. Creed then opens a doorway and flies in. Marcus hears a voice telling him, "Come, and follow me to your worst nightmare." Marcus steps through, the screen goes black and the credits roll.
Unlockables:
Infinite ammo: beat the game with 30 bonus objectives completed.
Infinite transformation gauge: take three or less tries to defeat Creed.
Invincibility: beat Creed with two or less ties.
If you beat the game and can't unlock these features, you can play through again through sections that the game will then be broken into.
There should be a sequel coming, so stay in touch!
