Background story
In the near future, wars have become a thing of the past, but violence is very present.
Weapons technology has advanced rapidly, but since there are no wars anymore they cant get true combat conditions testing.
Prisions are saturated worldwide, but everyone is too busy watching the latest crop of reality shows to care.
Reality show #1: cats and dogs
6 cats and 6 dogs are put inside a house. This will reveal the true lives of men’s best friends and women’s best gal pals and prove if there is a true rivalry between the 2 species.
Everyday at 6:00 pm in the Reality Channel, right after “life as a terrorist”(wich explores the burdens of being an international terrorist”
A media magnate with poor ratings gets an idea that will fix his ratings, the worldwide problem of prison saturation and the governments inability to test their high-tech weapons.
Mix reality shows with war.
He proposes it to the UN, and it passes.
Soon every country n the world is participating as a way to test their weapons.
But an Army needs an opposing force. Fight between nations is out of the question because it could risk to break the worldwide peace treaty they so hardly achieved.
So who is to become the opposing force?
A= The Convicts
Every convict in the world is given a shock training and are sent to the Warzone.
Nobody wants war, especially not the convicts, but they are given an offer they can refuse.
If they can survive one year they get their freedom back and they win a refrigerator.
Concept
Every convict is given a frag counter. If their counter is high they get monetary support from viewers worldwide; if its low they are nominated and are given a chance in the next mission they have to get better and give a better show. if they lag, they are eliminated (executed).
The Convicts are placed in Company-size Gangs.
This how battles are put together:
The News Channels create scenarios.
The gangs is given limited ammo and men, and a time limit to complete their objectives.
If they finish within the time frame they are given weapons and reinforcements.
If they don’t finish they are automatically eliminated (executed)
