This game is set in a world with culture and society of Japan. There are 4 great clans. When you make your account online you choose which clan you want your character to be from. When you start a game you can join in on the type of game sub game: Missions- You perform certain tasks for people are achieve a goal. These follow a story line. Up to 8 characters can join in on these games. Crusades- A great set of battles where armies wage war. These are split up into many small sub battles that you partake in. These happen only on certain times and players are often notified when they occur so that every one can join in on them. You are put into a random battle and you must fight hordes and hordes of enemies. These battles are waged against the different clans. If not enough people participate, then bots will fill in their place. Stealth Missions- These are missions only ninjas and shinobies can do. Much a like a Tenchu game a character the player must stealthy sneak around assassinate a person or escape a situation. Roaming- There are vast fields, cities, towns, roads, ruins, caves etc that you can venture to and fight in. Any number of players is aloud in a city or field, valley, road but only 8 characters are allowed into a dungeon like level. These places can be accessed at any time in the game. As long as you stay in your clans borders.
There are many character classes: Samurai, Ninja, Shinobi (thief), Oni, and Sorcerer. Each class will have many sub classes to focus on a specific attribute (I.E. magic, strength, stealth, abilites). You can be male and female with each type. You can choose your characters appearance almost how ever you want. Hair color, style, Height, weight, skin color, makeup, tattoos, peircings, Eyes, facial hair (for the guys) and costume. You will be able to change the color of the equipment you are using at any time in a certain shop. The Equipment will have different looks on your character.
The Battle system will be real time 3rd person combat. You will be able to equip helmet, mask, boots, gloves, sashes, chest plates, crest and Clan flag on your back ( sorry I don’t know the exact terminology) depending on what type of character you are. You will begin with a certain fighting style and can learn new ones through out the game and master the ones you have. What style combo you are using determines how fast you attack, how much damage you will do, how many hits you will do, and if your strikes add any elemental or support magic abilities.
You will also be referred to a weapon maker at the beginning of the game. You will be able to gain new swords, nunchucs, tonfas, sais etc when you give them special item or ingredients.
There will be horse riding for transportation and battling depending on what type of horse you have raised and what type of breed it is.

i like this idea, i'm very into oriental themed games with samurai, ninjas, etc. I think you should add more classes though. Things like Shugenja (a sort of elemental priest/wizard), Monk, some sort of non-samurai warrior or perhaps a barbarian type of class since they did exist. Oni is a good idea because it gives you many options of what you can make. You might even include something related to the darker "spirit world" in some asian mythologies (if i remember correctly). Well i hope a real game like this comes out, good work.

Being the freak over feudal Japan that I am, I enjoy this idea already! In fact, when I first started reading, I thought it was going to be the same concept as one of my game ideas. Well, actually it does resemble it quite a bit, only mine has a slightly greater freedom aspect to it, but only slightly. So I'm both pissed for you posting it first and glad that I'm not alone with this type of game! And praise you for adding the option to play as an Oni! Good lord, I would have so much fun with that character class... The only thing that really turned me off was the sorcerer gig, but only because I'm not that into elemential magics and such. But I do like the idea of 'Enlightened Priests' or something like that, who would say have a bonus against Oni characters and NPC enemies. Warrior monks would also be a nice addition as a character, for their wielding of portable shrines as unit standards would make enemy samurai and other Buddhist enemies very reluctant to attack them, which could actually make a comical addition to game seeing them stumble about 'cause they don't wanna attack! Aight, love the idea, and here's hoping that a major company stumbles upon it - cheers! - Brimmy V.
