BACK STORY

                   In or around the year 0 AD the messiah Jesus Christ was born, funny how easily history is distorted and turned into a fictional mess.
                  Jesus was indeed born in the year 2 AD as many believe, he was born from a virgin named Mary. But, his father, was not god, Jesus was considered a freak and banished by his mother and father, this had no impact upon his mind whatsoever and a young carpenter took in the boy with strange powers and raised him. Jesus set out at a young age to look for his real parents, the Romans were sent to hunt him and he narrowly escaped them many times. He went about gathering follows and he promised great gifts of power to those that followed him and defies thwe roman empire.
                 On the very same night Jesus was born, a second child was born, another man who looked nearly identical to Jesus. He was birthed in the protective walls of an illegal Cult church deep in some woods. He had powers similiar to those of Jesus and was reared within the cult, they worshipped the child as he grew and he granted powers to his followers similiar to Jesus. Soon the cult blended in with the Jews and Jesus and his "twin" set out to spread their beliefs. As did the cult members, as their numbers grew, the nager and tension within the Romans did as well. They sent out hunting parties, most came back empty handed, some came back with a few followers.
                 As their influence grew, Jesus and his "twin" (whom was never given a name, called only the Holy One) became good friends, almost like brothers. They wree labelled as Outlaws and evil cult members by the Roman empire and bounties were placed on all Jews heads, and huge ones were upon Jesus and his "twin". No one ever learned of Jesus' twin really because their legends were intertwined and they seemed as though they were one person. However, Jesus sensed something dark within his twin, and feared it would emerge at a critical point and forever change the world.
                As they journeyed, Jesus found his true parents, they became followers and Jesus and his parents grew to love one another despite his treatment upon birth. They enjoyed happiness and prosperity despite hunts by the Romans, but within Jesus' twin the darkness and hatred grew, he became jealous of Jesus because the twin had never known his parents, much less shared moments like this with them. Jesus covertly used his powers to supress his twins anger and darkness, unaware even to the twin the darkness sharnk, down, and down, but never quite vanished.
              One day, a hunting party of Roman barbarians came from the mountains to Jesus' encampment. They killed many of the followers, those which could ran, Jesus and his twin however stood against the Romans. They killed Jesus'  parents mercilessly right in front of him, Jesus did nothing however and as they approached him they halted. He gave off an aura of supreme light that halted them for one moment. Jesus' twin drew a sword and slew them all without mercy in their moment of pause, using his powers to kill them. Jesus tried to stop him but he nearly killed Jesus himself. After it was over, Jesus' twin vanished into the night and Jesus, stained with blood not of his veins, set out to gather more foloowers and defy the Romans not violently. He feared his twin and hoped he would never hear from him again, though in his soul, he knew a time of reckoning would come.
              Years later, Jesus' twin had found his parents and bonded with them like Jesus had, the hatred and darkness in him had reached a boiling point, but now shrunk again as he enjoyed feasts with his family.
              Several years afterwards, Jesus was captured by a legion of Roman soldiers and brought to the seaside to be executed. There he saw his twin for the first time in over 10 years. They greeted each other and his twin apologized for his actions so many years ago. Jesus accepted his apology, though they were both about to die, the twin smiled.
                Foolishly, the Romans took the twins family and horrified the poor man, they raped his young sister then hung her upside down. They held the twin back as the sister screamed and pleaded for her life with every ounce of life left in her. The general of the legion caved in the twins fathers head with a maul and strung him by his neck. All of this was unknown to most of Jesus' followers as they were sleeping lazily back at the camp.
                 Finally, the Romans took the twins mother, covered her in oil and set her aflame, she screamed for help but none came, they then poured acid on her and watched her sizzle away into the ground.
                 Jesus was astonished as thwe once abandoned darkness within his twin exploded. The flesh bursted off of the twin and within was a being of pure shadow, great icy wings exploded from his back and a blizardy aura enshrouded him. He took the physical form of a man sized being and grew great fangs and claws of ice. Jesus tried to quell the demon that was his twin and a titanic battle ensewed that left the legion soldiers slaguhtered all around. But the twin had won in an epic victory and Jesus lay in a pool of blood, mixed in mindlessly with the fallen soldiers, his skinwas torn and his entrails spilled about. The twin however, seemed untouched.
                    This was because Jesus did not make a single violent move against hsi twin, he rather took his beating without a single cry for mercy.
                  Foolish brother, is what the twin said, hsi voice rippled across the world it seemed and it echoed with fear, sending an icy blast of hatred into everyones heart within hundreds of miles. With that, he used his now dark powers to raise every single fallen soldier, he blew off most mens flesh and turned them into horrific and heartless creatures he dubbed demons. He then fled into space, bringing with him his legion of monsters.
                 He found an uninhabited galaxy not far from our own and set down upon a remotely earthly planet. He then sent out a wave of destruction that icily socrched the planets surface of life, he set up an empire of demons on the planet. He then dubbed his planet Hell and sent out demons to spy on earth and see how the progress of human history went and alter it as they see fit. Then report back in two millenia when a great invasion would take place, to not only kill all humans, but to exterminate all life  on every planet. the total liquidation of everything...ever.
                   There he sat, biding his time and building anh army, set to invade earht in the year 2030 AD. No one would be ready, and death would sweep over them like a tsunami.
                   As a final step, he sent a demon disguised as one of Jesus' followers to bring a book he had written himself, he called it the Bible. The metamorphed demon gave the book to the followers and left. This was so the followers quest for knowledge of their leaders dissapearance would be extinguished and the twin could build ana rmy in relative peace.
                   The twin dubbed himself Lucifer, but his demon followers called him The Morning Star because of his destructive ability.
                    So, history was twised and manipulated so humans could and would believe whatever Lucifer wanted them to. Funny how these things happen is'nt it?
                    Unknown to almopst everyone, in an existence beyond our own lies a place of great spiritual importance to all beings. Where the very essences of good and evil battle in an everlasting struggle that seemingly cannot be won. This place, is called...The Garden Of Eden. every good act comitted strengthens the evil in that place, and every good act strengthens the good in that place. Most ahve no knowledge of that pplace, but somehow Lucifer has found it, and sees to strengthen the evil there by killing everything ever. Perhaps even the garden of eden will be caught in his quest of blood. 

PRESENT STORY

                  The Jews took the Bible and blew it way out of proportion to explain the mess they were in, then passed this on from generation to generation, which passed it on from continent to continent. And it became one of the most practcied religions in the world.
                   The Demon spies continued to relay information back to Lcifer, and his army grew and evolved to best suit an offensive strike on the humans. Some Became world leaders, namely Americas worst presidents, Sadda Hussein and Kim Jong Il.
                  Lucifer, before he became a demonic and psychotic fiend, had loved a woman. in the period between his and JEsus' meeting at the Roman legions hands, he ahd impregnated her with his child. this was unknown to Jesus though it was put in the Bible. 
                  Jesus, efore he died at the hands of his freakish twin had also loved a woman. In the priod between his and his twins meeting at the legions hands he had impregnated her. This was unknown to Lucifer and only to a few of his devout priests and followers.
                   Because the two children held such incredible powers they could not gestate oin the reular nine months, they needed  thousands pof years if they were held by mortal women. So they magically passed on from one girl to another, the woman never became obese or felt pregnancy yet she could never have children of her own until the child passed on to a new woman. The women all were NOT virgins and all were between the ages of 18 and 26, on their 27th birthday they passed to a new host. Recently the children were born.
                    Both are at the age of 17 and look almost identical other than a few key areas.
                   Jesus' child was anmed Serra dn given great knopwledge (mostly fictional) of the past and her father. She loves alla nd tries to find a solution other than violence, she work hard to conceal her powers and most of the time she succeeds. She has many pets and lives in a middle class part of Detroit michigan. 
                   Lucifers child was named, ironically enough, Angel. She lives in semi-slums of Detroit with a mother who is nice enough and ahdr working and her dad well...y'know. Her mother knows nothing of the past and so neither does Angel. She is not aware of any powers and they have never surfaced, she lives a relatively normal life in her regular public school. Though the reports of increased military activity worries her.
                 One of the demon spies has taken control of the american governent and holds about 50% of the power in his hands, the others now know that the manipulator is a strange man and seek to counteract his maniacal plans of domiantion. The others in the government are using the military to combat the strange creatures that appear in the most historical of places. They are coming from Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, The Statue Of Liberty, under the Whitehouse. This has been released to the public and has caused quite a stir.
                 So Lucifer begins his invasion, and Serra presses on to Angels house to let her know the "truth" and all about the coming invasion.
                 Most of the story woyuld consist of Angel trying to find the truth aboput Christianity and stop the invasion from Hell, eventually looking for her father and finding out all kinds of warped truth about history. Serras story would consist of her looking for Lucifer, then going looking for the garden of Eden to find out thr truth about her beliefs and stop the invasion.
                Also, one of Jesus' most blessed priests impregnated a woman and she had a child then died from unknown reasons. His name is Michael, he has grown into a skilled mercenary with somewhat strange powers and legendary abilities. His story woud consist of a search for Serra and Angel then a search to stop the demon invasion and a look for the Garden of Eden.

I know theres a lot of holes in the stroy and i'll fix them as comments come in so please post

MUSIC

           The music would definetely have to be epic (duh!) and i think ti would mostly be intense orchestral music, for battles an awsome score could be composed with some intense action-ish sounding violin or something. Maybe a little Techno for serious battles and such. Every character would have a voice over, and they would have to be some people wityh acting but not necassarily voice-acting experience. Like maybe Natalie Portman for the voice of Serra, Eliza Dushku for Angel and Keanu Reeves for Michael. That could get pricy but it would be pretty sweet and like Christopher Lee or Ian McKian for Lucifer would be very awsome.
           Realistic growls and screams would fill the air and i think surround sound would be pretty cool. Explosions would sound realistic and difefrent noises for different clashes (blade on cloth would be different from bullet on cloth etc.).

I'll figure out music issues as comments come in so please post them

CONTROL

            Control would be handled simply, since this would be such an action game it would ahve to be relatively simple but moves would need to look awsome. so say pressing one button would lock on while another would be for your selected spell, one for your selected item, and one to attack. You could say...form a 10 hit attack combo, pop in a spell then go in for a couple more slashes. And two attack buttons would be good, one heavy and one light, so 4 presses of light would yield 5-7 quick slashes while 4-5 more presses of heavy would yield an awsome combo.
              Combos could be actiavted by pressing say, the magic button or directional button alogn with attack buttons. an analog stick to move would be cool and there would be the ability to fly eventually which could be handled with the analog stick or D-pad.

GAMEPLAY

                 Gameplay would be similiar to well...nothing really. It would have to be a huge mixture of like Castlevania: lament of innocence (without the repetitiveness i assure you), the Zelda games for N64, Kingdom Hearts and Devil may cry. Perhaps even a little final fantasy ability style stuff.
                 The Action would be the focus and i'd hate to ahve the players to woprry a bunch about whether they can beat a boss or not because their trength is low or not or they dont have a level 20 bullet or soemthing. I dont really like doing that and i know most people don't, you could pretty much kill most enemies even really ahrd ones if you had a ton of skill and strategy abilities.
                The RPG parts would be less than crucial, you could upgrade your weapons which i will describe under characters and whatnot. Abilities could be levelled up and they will be under characters as well. you would get Experience from killing enemies that could be put forth to Strength, HP, Agility, Intelligence, Weapona nd Ability upgrades allowing you some freedom with your character. You would not go up in level though and spells could be performed without worrying about MP, they could also be charged up. Magic would be split into several categories as follows.

Demon, Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Ice, Lightning, Holy, and anima magic.

                There would not be many puzzles but there would be some and were they were they would mostly require action motions (like Prince of Persia: TSOT) so there woudl be no figuring out number combos or box pushing at ALL. the main focus would be action but it would need to be varied and spiced up as the game went so it would not become monotenous, though that is almost unnavoidable unless the battles were truly engaging, which i'd want.
                 The game would progress mostly non-linear actually, the demon invasionw ould start sparse but soon engulf the world. And all teh characters would go around getting missions and objectives, some of them sidequests for extra abilities and weapons while some of them were for progressing the story. (kinda like ffx-2, with hotspots and all). This way you could spend hours upon heaps of hours with each characters fully exploring the story and history of the world (the real history) while advasncing the mian plot only when you felt ready to move on. i also think multiple endings would be cool. you would travel slow at first mostly not leaving michigan for the first 5 hours or so, but then you would learn to fly and you could travel anywhere in the world looking for missions and such. I would want each area rendered realistically but slightly hanged to suit the future eyar.
                     This would be handled by an overworld that would look just like our world today. with some minor changes of course. eventually you'd make it to Hell and explore their, then every character except Angel would proceed to the Garden of Eden which would be a whole nother world in itself. so this game would be HUGE.
                    Time would pass to and the game would keep track of days spent adventuring and questing for the truth. evry 45 minutes would be an hour or so in the game maybe two hours and weather would change to suit your location on earth. Seasons would change to and people would speak different languages, depending where you were.
                   I thin the graphics would need to be on-par with ffx's and presenetd in a high framerate. There would be finsihing moves when enemies became weakened (this could be turned off in the options menu so enemies just die violently). There woudl also be a lock on feature. Teh game would feature an intense story, tons of blood and harsh languag warranting it an M rating.
                  Different enemies (and there would be tons, ranging in difficulty from one shot kills to monstrous bosses that fill up the screen) would award difefrent amluints opf experience which could then be sued to upgrade your weapon, stats or abilities increasing your killing potential. Michael however would be awarded power cells and nano-machines which he would use to power up himself and his gun, nano machines to augment strength and whatnot while add-onns would give his gun different firing capabilities.

I know their are some definate holes in just about every aspect of the game so post comments about it, good or bad and i'll fix it. time for the characters, almost done now guys. (kinda).

CHARACTERS/ABILITIES

Angel

Child of Lucifer, half satanic, she fights to destroy her father and repel the demon invasion, she has intensely powerful spell abilities and is very good with her energy blade. She looks 17 but has been an embryo for 2000 years or so. She is stunningly beautiful and has flowing dyed black ahir, it is naturall blonde. She dresses semi-punk wearing baggy black pants and big shoes and a baggy teal shirt over two other shirts. She wears a thin layer of black eyeliner and has deep piercing black eyes. She has several piercings including ehr bellybutton, two one her eyebrow and one in her nose. She wields a demonic energy blade that glows black and seems to just wave about not really taking the form of a blade at all, it can snap like a whip or slash like a sword to do damage and can be upgraded several times for longer range and more damage.

Spell Alignment: Demon, Fire, Earth, Ice, Lightning

Here is a few of the abilities i think it would be cool for her to learn

Flight- the ability to fly, follow flying enemies, move about the world map and perform aerial combos, most useful, she grows shadow winsg when this ability comes up.

Piercing Gaze- A demonic stare and a very basic ability/spell, it can be leveled up over 15 times and can be charged to attack both aerial and ground opponents, relatively weakd amage but long range and easy to use skill.

Telekinetic Blast- a wave of force ripples from her mind and throws most smaller foes to the ground, the mroe leveled up it becomes tyhe larger enemies it can kncok down. this move can also be used to levitate objects, flip far off switches and blast away objects. it can be charged to a high level but inflicts little damage. it can be directed in a line or cone and leaves enemies open depsite the light damage.

Multi Blast- Angel jumps into the air and releases several blasts of visible demon energy, this attack devestates a wide area with relatively high damage when enemies are hit by multiple bubbles of energy. When it is leveled up the range is increased, area of effect and number of energy blasts is icreased. can be leveled up many times for faster use and less charge up time.

Demon Ripple- Angel sends a searing wave of cold into a single enemy, it is barelty visible and relatvely small at first, when leveled up it  can split multiple was, inflicts more damage and can possily freeze enemies, short charge up time.

Shockwave- Angel smashes the ground and sends out a shockwave directly in front of her with a pretty high damage that knocks foes to the ground  leaving them open for a finsihing move. upgraded it increases the extremely short range and eventually sends out a shockwave in 360 degrees around Angel for high damage.

Cold Heart- Angel gives a wicked demonic glance to enemies that seems to freeze their hearts and insatntly destroy them. some enemies it explodes their heart into a bloody mess from their chests. if it does not kill the enemy it does a very high damage. the problem is it has a high charge time and low, low range, it is also rather innacurate sometimes targeting enemies not in Angels sights.

Transform- This turns Angel into a vaguely humanoid demon creature with great wings and claws. she becomes intensely strong and fast and can fly four times faster than normal with a huge bonus to health. This increases hwer combo potential and gives a great boos to her spell abilities. Unfortunatel it drains her health in her regular form by half and leaves her ludicrously tired afterwards and it has a huge charge time.

Multi Stab- Angel thrusts her b lade forwards everal times at lightning speed so fast most enemies can't see it happen. This inflicts intense damage but has a big charge time, it also always hits and leveling it up increases the stabs and range thus increasing damage and eventually it can hit more than one enemy.

These are just a few minor ideas, there would be potential for at least 40 or more abilities. Just a suggestion, it would definetely make the game stamnd out if it had TONS of abilities for the character to select and level up.

Serra

Serra is Angels twin and Jesus' child, she has holy powers that she has known aboyut for some time. She is the ultimate demon slayer and seeks to rid the universe of all demons. She uses her powers with great ability and is very intellgient despite never having gone to scool. She respects Angel very mucha nd the two look out for each other throughout the story. She is very beautiful and gives off a bright aura. She constantly has great angel wings sprouting from her back that allow her to fly.Her weapon is a great halberd of light that she crafted herself and is very skilled with. as it upgraded she would move faster and it would do more damage.

Spell Alignment: Holy, Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Lightning

Piercing Stair- See Angel, only this deals holy damage rather than demonic damage.

Impale Stretch- Serra rushes at the enemy, pierces their gut, throws them in the air and moves her halberd furiously from sdie to side until the enemy explodes in a bloody haze. this has a long range and is mostly an instant kill for all enemies.

Halberd Crush- Serra throws the enemy in the air and bashes in their face with her halberd. This does a bunch of damage but is kinda innacurate and has short range, can be upgraded to do more damage.

Holy Blast- a searing beam of light shoots from her palms and dismembers many atoms in the enemy creating a warp and almost kills the enemy. there is a big charge up but this has a long range and does massive damage but it can always only hit one enemy despite being a blast move.

          There could be tons of other Holy aligned moves and elemental moves, at least as many as Angel. She would also be allowed to fly right from the get-go.

Michael

Michael is a Mercenary and has been since he was 17 when he driopped out of shcool.... it is the near future and he has been hired by a masked figure to help the humans exterminate the demon race. Michael (he is a takwe on the archangel mind you) never knew that he had special powers until his closest friend was killed two years ago...then a power awoke within him and it erupted....killing everyone withion a 4mile raidus or so. His inner strength does not have as much potential as Angels or Serras but it is still quite formidable. Michael uses a futuristic gun as a weapon that can be modified with different attachments and mods throughout the game. Michael uses his gun to vanquiah demons and bizarre culty members...he would tie into the story because he is Jesus' head priests descendent passed down through the ages just like Serra and Angel. He will find out thr truth about himself...and the religion that has hold over much of America. His fighting capabilities are very similiar to Dantes from DMC in that he can jump in the air and float down as well as several other upgrades.

Bullet- These are the normal bullets that Michael has in his gun...somewhat low damage but a rather fast attack speed, this would be his main weapon for the first hour or so of the game until you colelcted enough power cells  to fully utilize the other weapon upgrades. The bullets can be upgraded with add-onns throughout the game to fire with better velocity, range and gunpowder allowing Michael to keep up with the ramped difficulty later in the game. These have infinite ammo and you can fire away as muich as you like.

Rapid-fire- Rapid fire enables Michaels gun to become slightly larger and fire at an astonishing rate...emptying power cells left and right, it can be very useful with [powered up bullets for its high rate of fire but uses a lot of power cells. This can target single enemies or be ste to spray over a wide area leaving holes and smoking corpses. This could be upgraded to fire slightly faster and decrease power cell usage as well as accuracy as it is very hard to hit with accurately.

Taze- Taze is a small metal [ebble like device that shoots into the enemy, they can hardly feel it until about five secodns after iot ahs enetered. once inside it explodes upon cintact with an internal organ of any kind (making it uselss against skeletons) creating an electric shock of well over 50,000 volts that almost instantly kills anything, usually shorting out their entire insides and blowing them up upon contact. This upgrade uses a lot of power cell and can be upgraded to not use so much and do even more damage making it useful in all acspects. It does hwoever have a long charge time and has a 10 second delay or so before it explodes killing the enemy.

Narc- a small sleeping dart is shot into targets that are to be taken down by non-lethal means. it can be upgraded to fire more accurately and ut them to sleep fatser, it also has a short range that can be upgraded, somewhat un-useful against demons but very much so against human targets. it has infinite ammo though.

Blade rondo- a small metal ball is shot into the enemy, upon contact it shoots out intense flurries of blades from within dismembering the enemy immediately, this usually kills them instantly. this move uses quite a bit of the power cell and there is only one metal ball so it can only target one enemy at a time for about 4 seconds until it explodes and magnetically comes back into the gun. This move can be upgraded to shoot more than one ball and use less energy when doing so.

               Note that Michael would have many many more upgrades for hios gun then what is seen here. He would also be able to make an energy blade that could eb upgraded for melee combat, and a host of grenades would be at his disposal for taking out groups and nests of enemeis. 

PLEASE READ: This games story reflects NONE of my ideas on the christian religion and i think it would have made a good story idea.  And i do not mean to offend anyone with the story at all, i respect but do not necessarily believe in any of the religions mentioned so please dont take the story personally at all.
