Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.

I’ve played some really entertaining action games in the past, and I hope to continue that sort of genre entertainment for years to come.

It’s about, Alex Vertigo, who’s just an ordinary 11-year-old-boy. One night he has this terrible nightmare, filled with chaos, destruction, and pure evil that are seen in a thousand ways. Next, Alex wakes up to see his cat, Chromos, is speaking to him! The feline tells him that every inch of evil on Earth is hunting Alex, and that if Alex wants to be safe again, Chromos will tell him how. Alex, who believes the cat is talking to him, wants the show the school it’s talent! As they reach school, Alex’s best friend, James Doublecross, ambushes him with 200 rounds of an AK-47! Suddenly, after the surprising death, Alex mutates into this hideous beast with bullhorns, petrifying snakes, and dreaded black claws. James starts to shoot again, but decides to run to a car filled with other shooters and drives away. Afterwards, Alex turns back into himself, mysteriously revived. Finally, he looks into Chromos eyes, and sees that they are rotating counter-clockwise. Alex soon realizes that time is reversing itself. Faster and Faster and BOOM…the adventure begins.

Now you’re probably wondering when I’m going to get to the actual game play. Now that you are being diced through time, you can fight enemies such as Roman soldiers, dinosaurs, aliens, Nazis, and so much more (plus they’re all after you anyway). Your cat tells you that you are what people call, The Wasp Image, and must get 10 magical keys in order to open a doorway in the last boss’s dream. This doorway will take you to the Wasp Eye. You can use this lens to re-enter your nightmare and undo your curse. You go through each part of the game while being in human form some of the time. You can’t always be that monster thing, so you do human things. As a human, you can simply jump, crawl, hang, and occasionally fight! Gaining skill as a human comes from fighting weak enemies. The best way to do that is by stealth, since your physical immunity is that of an actual human (like if you get shot once in the stomach you’re dead). Now you can basically turn into a monster anytime. But you have a scale, which will tell when you can turn into a monster, and how long you’ll be in that form. If you die in a monster form, you can change into another monster, if your scale is high enough. If your monster dies in battle, it will heal itself in a short period of time. You can also be in other forms beside that gorgon thing. You can be Shiva, Darth Maul, Majem Buu, and Ifrit. First, you must have recollections of your nightmare to be those devils (see nightmare by gaining skill with monsters). The game features attack combos and petrifying magic with snakes. For example, you’re clawing on a ceiling and you spot a bad guy. You can use one of those snakes to turn him to stone. Then you can dash at him and he’ll break into oblivion. You can also do tricks like, breaking the glass of the universe with Shiva (breaking screen like cracked glass to get rid of the bad guys in the area). Probably the most amazing thing you can do in this game is “slither” into people’s dreams, and turns them into a nightmare. For example, your boss is really tough, and you want an easier way to beat him. What you can do is slither into his dream (which could be him being the King of the World and treating everyone like slaves) and find ways to mess it up. You can torture him, kill him, and cause other counterparts in his dream to rebel and spell out catastrophe. When you get back to reality, he will be easier to beat and you’ll get that beautiful key that you always wanted. However, you can slither into enemy dreams, but there is a scale of how much slither power you have, and you must get more power by eating wasps. Don’t be thinking the entire game is going to be hand-to-hand combat. You’ll be able to do a variety of gun combos. For example, you can use duel nail guns in a tornado spin to wipe out enemies in every direction.

Now I’ve given all the details on Alex, so now it’s time to talk about Chromos. Now if this game were for PS2, then you would press [SELECT] to switch to being able to play as Chromos the Cat. As Chromos, you can do high leaps, small crouches, and run unbelievably fast. Chromos also has the similiar human immunity, but he’s got nine lives! Also, since Chromos is a street cat, his one live can take up to 8 shots, and then he’ll lose a life. He’s also good at combat, while smothering or blinding enemies so that they can shoot other foes. He’s also very tricky in a strategic problem. For example, in a gladiator’s dream, where Alex can’t get into the arena, you turn to play Chromos. Chromos would go through a hole, into the arena, jump and tame a lion. He would then tell the other lions to attack the audience. Chromos would ride and navigate the lion to ambush and maul the Supreme Gladiator. Therefore, turning the dream into a nightmare. Probably one of the most amazing magic Chromos can conjure is time traveling. Like Alex, Chromos must eat animals (mice) in order to obtain time users. You use the eaten mice to rewind time…and fast forward time! For example, you use a mouse (time usage is only a minute at most) to fast forward time. While fast forwarding, Alex does the most strategic way of defeating enemies, or solving puzzles. Like I said in the parenthesis, you can’t fast forward forever. You need those mice users.

Well… that was my first game idea. I hope I get a review soon, and that it gets really popular. Anyway I’d like to thank the Norwegian dudes whose idea it was to create this site. I’ve also got another great game idea cooking in my dreams right now. I hope The Wasp Image does not disrupt them.

it's really cool in fact (reminds me of "the butterfly effect" only better). But to tell you the truth, this idea seemed quite incoherent and not that interesting. The game's title drew me to read this idea, but i was disappointed to be honest. Not to say it's a really bad idea or anything, i was just expecting alot more.
