Instead of the regular Space Invaders, combine it with Asteroids! Your spaceship can move all around the screen, and the aliens can attack from anywhere too! It makes it all the more interesting, and I have even thought up a name: Space Attack! If you want, you can add even more games to it. It helps to add some pizzazz to these old games to make them interesting to kids. You could also make it a RPG. You know, have a story to go along with the attacking aliens. Such as: The year is 5063. The earth exploded 2000 years ago. Most of the humans escaped before the explosion, but some were left behind. Then there was trouble. It all started when the alien fleet attacked the mother ship. Then, the only humans left from the traumatic 2000 years since Earth’s explosion had to fight back. They sent out their only fighter, with their best pilot. That pilot is you. Go defend your kind from extinction!*

If you write that so that it scrolls down from the top of the screen to the bottom like they do in those old space movies, then that would look even cooler!
