1.The Story
Two years after the defeat of Ganondorf, peace and prosperity seemed to rule Hyrule. Even Link was enjoying the peaceful times. Then something happened that took the entire empire by surprise. A shadow monster from another dimension attacked. It reproduced asexually and soon there was an entire army of them. Hyrule's army went to battle with them. Unfortunantly, there was to many of the monsters and the army was overwhelmed.
Link knew he had to take action in order to stop this new threat. He went to a secret compartment in his house to get all his weapons, then took his horse on the road to Hyrule Castle. He was putting up a good fight until a new shadow beast stepped foward. It attacks Link with tremendous force, Knocking Link out, and scatering all of his weapons to different kingdoms. The only thing he has left is the Master Sword which no longer has the power to slay evil. News of similar monsters invading other kingdoms spreads fast. When Link wakes up the kingdom of Hyrule is in ruins.
Link knows what he must do. He has to slay the shadow monsters. First he has to find his weapons though. So he once again sets off on an adventure. His only choice is to destroy the shadow monsters. Failure is not an option. He then rides into the wind.
2.Gameplay
I will explain the following things here. 1.The Enemies 2.Your weapons 3.The Landscape 4.Special features 5.Side quests
1. The Enemies
There many types of enemies in the game. 7 to be precise. The first is a normal shadow monster. They are like black ghosts that can appear and disappear whenever. They do not do much damage when they attack. There are different types of these monsters. They are green, red, and gold. You can capture them in bottles. The green ones replenish your magic, the red ones heal you, and the gold ones have the powers of both. The second type is a shadow warriors. They stand 6 feet tall. They are very musculer and carry swords. Next are the shadow mages. They are 5 feet tall and are physicaly weak. Their magic abilities are very powerful however. Next is a shadow demon. They are 4 feet tall and are rather puny. They are great archers though. They are not dangerous unless they are very far away. Next is a shadow triclop's. They stand over 6 feet tall and have three eyes. They are very muscular and attack with brute force. There only weakness is the middle eye on their head. Next are the shadow soliders. They are the ones who make up the shadow armies. The only place you fight them are in the layers of the bosses. Last are the biggest and the badest of all of the normal enemies. The next are the shadow appaeitions.. They are spirits that attack with physic powers. Use exteme caution when battling them. Now that you know about the normal enemies, lets get onto the Bosses. There are 5 bosses in the game. You battle one per kingdom (get into that later) They are all Shadow Dragons. Each one has its own special ability. The first one you fight can breath fire that can melt almost any substance. The second one came shoot water with extreme power . The third one can shoot ice that can freeze anything, even lava.. The fourth one can blow very strong winds. The last one (boss of the game) has the power of all of the other dragons and has the power of Darkness. This draon has the power to call o

firstly,I am probably one of the few that likes reading sequels, because I have something to base my imagination of the game on,although tobecompared to real Zelda games is a challenge
Which is where I have to say I can find my major criticism of this game
I admit to not having played the last two zeldas enough to really know them, but in past ones the story lines have been deeper, involving rare gemstones,7 mystical sages e.t.c e.tc
The shadow people do cover this in the game, but it seems half my game is spent finding weapons, which I am not so keen on, because as a major event in the storyline it does not fit in with the Zelda series
Basing it more on the shadow world/people would be much better IMO
I also am under the impression you have just 1 boss,I may have misread, but a zelda game with 1 boss is just wrong, zelda boss fights ruleto be frank :0)
Of course both these points are just how I see/enjoy the zelda games, whereas it is your idea so well done on making a sequel with at least a certain degree of uniqueness to it

You got a point about that i didnt go into detail. I honestly wrote this game because i love to play zelda games. In any case I think you are right. Check out eternal darkness, rising evil, that is one of my better games

I have never ever played a Zelda game in my life and by the sounds of this one the others seem to be awesome games. There have been many Legend Of Zelda sequel's and by far this one seems to be the best one. This game has alot of potential.

this is very far from a brilliant idea (though not the worst on this site). It seems everybody loves to make "shadows" into bad guys, go figure, but i didn't see any originality in this story (...what story?). I think Zelda games have great potential that even Nintendo hasn't been tapping into since the first NES games and Link to the past (which could've done with slightly improved gameplay). I applaud your idea only in the sense that you're trying to express a darker world of Zelda, i think the Zelda series would be a gift from God if it was an immersive 3D experience somewhat like the upcoming Fable game for Xbox. Unfortunately, searching the kingdom of Hyrule and a bunch of other kingdoms you made up to find Link's scattered weapons (that monster must've hit him with enough force to punch a hole in an asteroid) seems like a story from the old, simple days when gamers were amazed simply by running around and swinging their pixelated sword. To respond to Valek's comment, I like reading sequels too as i'm always interested to see if anybody has the skill to improve on a series or at least produce work of the same quality, in which case they should be hired immediately by a company. There are multiple bosses in the game but they're all shadow dragons which, to me, takes the variety out of fighting the various interesting bosses the Legend of Zelda series is known for. The "shadow people" sound kinda like the Heartless from Kingdom Hearts. I think there's so much more you can do with this idea, try to take my criticism from that point of view. PS> your first two paragraphs on the story sound a bit silly, improve them.

Hey man, nothing personal with the ideas. I'm just expressing what i think, i didn't happen to like these two ideas for the reasons i explained. That should just mean you should put more effort into what you design. Ask yourself "does it REALLY sound cool? will other people think it's cool?". Sometimes you may just be tempted to write an idea you like, but then you'd become like the game industry and make whatever you wanted without taking into account what people are interested in (it's strange they still do that after all this time). I read your World of Hell idea and it's alright, so you're doing better i suppose.
