Story:
This game takes place in the distant future. During this time, humans have reached planets on distant galaxies and discovered new forms of intelligent life. The story begins on a barren, moon-like planet, called Epsilon-Rho 282, where the OUtsOUrce Latent Tech-Pro Robotics Research and Development Facility is located. The facility is underground because the surface of the planet is extremely hot for thirty earth days (when it faces its sun) and extremely cold for another thirty. Massive oxygen and fuel tanks that are refilled almost daily allow humans to conduct their research and create exactly what OUtsOUrce wants: weapons. The LTP Facility has recently succeeded in developing something especially deadly: something with the intelligence of a human and the power of a machine. This was the Facility's big project since the beginning, but it took them decades to successfully create a fully-functional "cyborg." This success is LTP's 90th attempt at cyborgizing a human being, so the creation is named LTP-90. The LTP-90 is a fully-functional robot that is controlled by a human brain. It is fueled by a special nuclear energy called ACU. The ACU generates nutrition for the human brain as well as the fuel that is needed to power the LTP's mechanical components. The LTP stores another kind of fuel in its tanks called DHO, which allows it to use "energy" attacks rather than consume ACU for pure physical attacks. The LTP is also designed to run largely on oxygen (and the human brain needs it), so as long as there is oxygen around, ACU consumption is minimized. Most importantly, the LTP-90 is designed to grow. As it performs actions, its power actually increases rather than wearing out. Of course, the LTP system doesn't really care what happens to it, it's human "component," Aija does. No one knows the story of Aija, because apparently he volunteered readily for the LTP-90 program and after the procedure, Aija could not remember anything from his past. Supposedly, Aija was very enthused about being fused with a machine, but after the project has finished, Aija has feelings of great regret (even though he does not remember why he volunteered) and accepts the missions to which the LTP-90 is assigned with great reservations. The story of this game is Aija's story; as the LTP-90 he has superhuman strength, but of course this makes him wonder if he is really still human. At the beginning of the game you work for OUtsOUrce, running various errands that your cyborg body allows you to excel in. Characters: Aija: Apparently 19 years old when he agreed to participate in the LTP-90 project, Aija now regrets his decision. Aija has absolutely no memory of his past, and the scientists that worked on him tell Aija that he shared nothing of his life with them before the procedure. Aija has no other contacts that he knows of, so he feels forced to go along with OUtsOUrce's designs for him. He is full of regret and hatred for OUtSOUrce because he does not like being treated like a project or a machine instead of a person. LTP-90: The robotic component of the entire LTP-90 system. This is a machine without feeling that does whatever Aija tells it to (although it is designed to protect itself regardless of the cost, so it sometimes overrides Aija's orders). Aija does not really feel like he is part of LTP-90, and he is unable to relate to his robotic half because it only says things like "Organism detected: 50m NW." Cyrus: A 50-year old scientist became head of the LTP project when he was in his thirities. He is Aija's only real friend because he treats Aija like a real person. Still, he often thinks of Aija as his masterpiece and underscores Aija's humanity. Sapphire: A young woman who is also a "project" like Aija. One of Aija's major mission

this seems like a fun idea with all the options available to a player, only the suffocation thing sounds a little hokey but that's alright. i just would've liked to see some more abilities for Aija that are kinda unique (he has vision modes, energy fields, etc. and that's great, but i'd like to see some cool and interesting attacks). i like this idea, despite the story not being amazing. i liked your previous idea as well (don't remember the name) but i thought that one was cool too.

Thanks for recognizing my work. As per your suggestions, jalex, the abilities I listed were ones that I thought of off the bat. I'll try to come up with some better in-battle abilities and expand on the story as well. Well..maybe after my next idea. Sorry you didn't really like the story; I do :(

the story's not bad, it's just not revolutionary, which i don't really expect from most ideas anyway. Only some of my stories have been really great, the others were just fine. I guess it's all about adding detail. To tell you the truth, i'd like to know how LTP-90 looks, cuz i'm having trouble imagining it.

how it looks..?

I guess I didn't specify this but LTP-90 was modeled after Aija's physical appearance, so if you want to know what LTP-90 looks like, you're asking what Aija looks like (i.e. a normal person). I hope this doesn't disappoint you or anything. The only special non-human features about LTP-90 are that its hands and feet are covered by a black, metallic-like substance that conducts its energy fields. Otherwise it looks like a person..I haven't thought much about what Aija looks like.

i thought it had more of a robotic appearance, but no, it doesn't disappoint me. For some reason Aija kind of reminds me of the character from Deus Ex after your description, i dunno why. At first he sounded kinda like a robocop kind of character, but it's a bit cooler that he's not. Though i'm wondering, you said LTP-90 looks like a human, but i'm assuming it would NOT look like Aija, seeing as he's only the consciousness inside it, otherwise it partly defeats the purpose. (Like how Robocop couldn't return to the family he loved because he looked like a machine, if he looked exactly like before he wouldn't have had any problem). So what i'm saying is he would have very little problems adjusting to his new state if people recognized him as normal and he could theoretically go about his life as before. Just my take on it, i'd like to know what you think.

Well, I covered this in the story. The scientists that created Aija modeled LTP-90 after his physical appearance on purpose. When Aija signed up to participate, he came from another planet and refused to tell any of the scientists about his former life. After being cyborgized, Aija lost his memory. So now, even though he looks the same, the only people he has contacts with are the scientists. He doesn't remember his friends or family, or where he came from. Presumably, they don't know that he left to become part of the LTP-90 program, so they will likely never see him again. Maybe in the story Aija could come in contact with someone from his past that would recognize him. This could answer questions about Aija's past that is otherwise shrouded in mystery.
Since I actually know what happened, I guess I could tell you, but that would spoil it.
