My idea is to create a massive online multiplayer game. It would be a 3rd person shooter game and take place in a very large city with a large expanse of water on its border. The goal would only be to get as many kills as possible. Weapons would be readily available. You would be able to type in other screen names on a "buddy list" and those people cannot be hurt by you. In the water there will be many docks with endless supply of boats and up to 3 people can fit in one. A gun on the back a driver and a passenger. If you are killed you lose everything and appear in a hospital. This is a safe zone that you can enter to heal or go after you die. However after 5 minutes your are kicked out of the hospital and respawned randomly. Weapons will be readily available and laying in the streets. Cars will also be used with up to 4 passengers. Each of these people may shoot out the window. There would be 3 different type worlds in my game. The miedevil world where the weapons consist of anything from slings, to bows, to axes , to swords. Then a modern world where weapons would consist of uzis, flamethrowers, handguns, rocket launchers, grenades, and many more. The third world would be a futuristic world consisting of alien like weapons such as lasers and such. Being that this game would be an massive online rpg I would create a rewards system for the players with the most kills. This is my first creation and I did read your guide so please critique me. but not necessarily a bad one. I mean this is why we play shooters online, for massive chaos! I like the vehicles idea, ever since Halo i've been in love with driving vehicles in a shooter, Battlefield 1942 was cool too. It would be nice to see such a game with a more GTA-like feel (ie. big city, freedom to run around). I like the wartorn city theme, and it'd be cool to play with teams, that would give it a nice feel like Freedom Fighters or something. It's a decent idea. My guesses as to why this was placed in the secondary index are: 1) fun, but not very original 2) has no real story 3) needs more detail for sure. Work on it more and it could be a really fun game.
