This is another quick game idea I came up with called Spirit Kingdom: Souls of Chaos.
Story:
There is a world filled with 4 races. The humans, the elves, waterfolk, and fire-lizard people. (actual creative names and specific races will be thought up but this is just to give you an idea) Each have a thriving empire. Conflict arises between the kingdoms and battle is inevitable. It is a time for conquest. Your mission is to guide your kingdom to victory and purge the land of the other empires and gain control of the land. Throughout the battles a dark corrupted kingdom from another dimension threatens to take control of the world. This is just a quick cap and all you really need to know.
Characters:
There are three unique starting characters from each kingdom. I don’t really have any names or solid character ideas thought up yet though. There will be about 5-6 characters that you can unlock.
Classes:
In battle each kingdom has standard classes i.e. soldier, mage, archer, and junk like that. Each race will have a few specific classes as well with unique traits. Each warrior in a class can evolve/class up and gain a stronger appearance and enable to them to weald new weapons and abilities. You may also gain bodyguards.
Bodyguards:
Depending on your rank you can have body guards ( I’m thinking 2-12). These guys will follow you and defend you like any other bodyguard. But when body guards gain enough experience, they can become characters unlike a normal warrior. They will get an actual name and a title i.e. George, the Hellslayer. (not like I would actually use that though) When they become specific characters they can have unique clothing to choose from, capes, helmets, that make them look like story characters and not a normal fighters. They can also gain special moves once they are a unique bodyguard and you can even trigger cinema with a specific body guard that drives the story and shapes it. They also can become selectable characters in battle and can control legions in small battles.
Expedition:
When you campaign out to fight a kingdom you choose certain battles to fight in. Depending on your success or failure you will gain or loss certain battle opportunities. You then get closer into the heart of the enemies kingdom and must defeat their ruler in the capital to gain their land and resources. Also in campaigns when you choose a battle you are given a map of a small area. There are many small battles that you must fight in. You must spilt uf your troops or plantoons er wateva and send them to battle in these places. As you fight on one side of mountain A and work your way through gate A to the enemy base, another character is fighting with troops that you sent out to side B to take the B gate. Bosses will be at the end of each major battle and some along the way. There are about 4 of these small battles in each larger battle.
Gameplay: Not much to say here but a hack and slash game. The screen is a little further back so that you can see your surroundings and the enemies. Each character has a couple cool attacks like in a fighting game. And you can also give orders to troops and tell them to go into certain formations. You can also command catapults and things like that. There are also skills and spells like magic and combos. Innate abilities as well…
Your character, bodyguards, and soldiers will level up and can gain new weapons. There will be special weapons issued to troops not like your normal weapons, same goes for armor.
You can play the game with different characters to gain different FMV’s and slightly different story line. And maybe an online play could be incorporated as well.
This is just all a rough idea I just came up with on the spot but I think it has some potential. <sign off>

It's good that you took the time to post your idea on GD. I think a major improvement would come from your developing names, specifics, and maybe a little more story. This game idea is sound, but it is not very original. If you could add some edge to the game, it could be better for the site even though players may not necessarily like it.
