This is set 1000 years after wind waker, Link and Tetra had found new land a long time ago on the other side of the planet and 1000 years later technology has become as advanced as ours today and everything such as dragons and rito have long been forgotten and Link's great great great... grandson (who is also named Link) is living in an average town.
Storey
Link is playing in the park with his friends Icker, Denzo and Princess Zelda(the 23rd) when all of a sudden a huge bird comes out of nowhere and kidnaps Zelda, Link chases after but is no match, he stands there shocked and then another surprise comes when two ritos fly land right beside link and start talking to him, they inform him that Zelda has been taken to the lost land by one of ganons minions and the only way to get her back would be to get his sword and come to the harbour. Link runs home and grabs the sword,shield and wind waker that was passed down to him by his father and put on the very garments that were worn by the hero of the winds and set off to the harbour where he met the king of red lions himself. The king informed him that the master sword no longer repelled evil and he would have to restore it by coming to the lost land and collecting the ten power gems.
About The Game
Alot would have changed in 1000 years the great deku tree is be 10 times bigger than he was, the forsaken fortress is history, windfall has been recently destroyed and new islands have appeared. Link would ride around in his boat going from island to island collecting power gems he would have the wind waker with him learnig old as well as new songs such as the song of awakening which causes link to become twice as powerful but uses up magic power. There would be new weapons such as the mace. Near the end you would search for the triforce as it turns out that Ganon was searching for them all along which is why he kidnapped zelda to get the triforce of wisdom and he later found the triforce of power, then it turns out that the triforce of courage was in links hometown all along so Ganon invades it and that is where Link must finaly beat him.
