In Sims: Holiday, the sims have holidays and gives the player special items to buy and do in that holiday month
Whats different is that now instead of just a time there is a month bar which shows what month it is. Like I said in each month is a special holiday and players can but special items until that month is over. When it is the actual holiday it will say it in the corner
Here are some examples:
October-(Halloween) Players can buy halloween decorations and put them around the house(decorations, fog machines, props, lights, etc.) , you can buy costumes from costume shops and masks. On Halloween night trick or treaters will come to your house: (you can give them candy, make them do a trick, scare them, etc.) Or instead of giving candy if the family has kids you can take them around the block for some trick or trating.
November-(Thanksgiving) Players can buy Thanksgiving decorations and put them aound the house. On Thanksgiving Day players can invit friends over to have a Thanksgiving feast.
December-(Christmas) Players can buy Christmas decoratons and put them around the house or lights on the house. You can go downtown and buy presents for specific people and give them it on Christmas. And at night, Santa may visit to get the kiddies a special gift.
Those arejust some holidays. There is more for each month.
