this game would work like this: primary gameplay is sort of like starcraft only it is all based in space (on planets) and you upgrade technologys and expand to other planets, and eventualy other solar systems(this has to be sort of acelerated to keep it from geting boring) begining cenarios could involve gaining controll your solar system against computer controlled civilizations on onther planets in your solar system. As you expant you encounter other civilizations. now the game gets interesing. You can either make peace or war like in civilization games but in war you can drop down through comand levels from God to General, Ect. comanding your forces in more and more detail untill you reach the bottom and play the game as a first person starfighter game. (the comand levels could be swithched at any time). this game would require at least 2 game engines mabe 3 but it could be verry interesting. it also has the potential for intensive multi-player games involving streatigic aliences and having the players of an alience playing in each of the roles.

crazy cool. i played a game slighly like this as a kid, im 14 right now. anywho, you might wanna add gathing things from the aliens after war or after peace. upgrading all equipment. and this could turniinto huge online lives. you could get on line and pick your planet. people can design there own planets and stuff. you could slowly rise in power. anywho, great game idea, amazing possiblities.
