You have a world map where you build your empire, and you choose your own campaign. Within this campaign there will be castles, forts, and towns. Along the roads in the campaign allies will be enlisted, Revolutions will start in towns the town revolution may join your side if there leader is more unjust than you they may also join your enemy or become a new country. Towns can be pillaged or burnt, ships are created in port towns, territorial lines change due to how far your armies reach in the campaign, soldiers will be enlisted in the towns, farms will be added into campaigns, farms can be burned or taken over, lords and knights can become grand lords or grand knights only during campaigns. Before they become grand lords or grand knights, they are lords or knights before knights and lords they are fighters. Distinguished troops can become fighters due to distinguishing themselves in battle. Grand lords and grand knights can own land but must pay tribute to the leader. The leader can ask a grand lord or knight to levy money and if they give the money to him, they can become a duke, a baron, or generals. Pirates and buccaneers can be enlisted during the campaign and will stay with you through out the campaign as long they are paid every fall. Outside of campaigns, taxes can be raised or lowered when you click on a town, build towns, forts and castles, hire and train soldiers at castles and create fighters, enemies will be different colors and different types of units. Unit types are archers, infantry, Calvary, siege weapons. Under infantry there are pike men, long spears, lords, ax men, men with swords and shields. Calvary has Calvary messengers, Calvary archers, and elephant riders, horse riders, squires, and knights.
Fighters, lords, knights, grand knights, grand lords, dukes, barons and generals are the leaders of all the other units. In towns and forts if a unit gets close to a leader his moral and the lost units go up buy three every time they are close. the max units depends on the leader fighters have 5, lords and knights have7 dukes and barons have 10 and generals have 20, in every unit there are 10 men. in campaign the field is in a grid form

If you can pull of great castle creation, and a good combat system, managing crisis and pummeling foes will be sweet indeed. I hope that you will endevor to elaborate.
