TTT: The Tetris Trap is a tetris game where you are able to sabotage the other player or computer playfield by using traps on their blocks. 50 traps to choose. You can use up to 3 traps at once, 9 traps in a round. A trap from the top, side, and the bottom. Make enough lines to charge up your trap and use it. Raise your level on your profile to receive better traps. Play against the computer or another player for fast Tetris action. 5 modes: Story, .VS., practice, marathon, and training. The tetris type game is cascade, where the same color blocks stick together.
When you move your block, you also move the ceiling and floor trap. Press L1 and L2 to raise and lower the side trap on the other's playfield. Press triangle to activate the ceiling trap, square to activate the side trap, and X to activate the floor trap. Press R1 and R2 to rotate your blocks. Hold circle and press up to select your traps to use. The traps you recieve can be saved in your profile, so you can use them when you like.
Ceiling Traps: Usually, the ceiling traps sabotage the opponent's playfield by putting a 2x2 block, 4x4 block, a colorless block, invisible block, or gas, that cause their blocks to have side effects, into their playfield.
Side Traps: Usually, the side traps sabotage the opponent's playfield by changing the colors of the blocks, move the blocks, or removing blocks that can really mess up the opponent's playfield.
Floor Traps: Usually, the floor traps sabotage the opponent's playfield by changing the colors of the blocks, blow away blocks, trapping blocks so they want dissappear until the trap wear off, or move blocks.
Story Mode: A mode where you will be hit by every trap in the game. Your objective is to survive the 8 stages of traps. After, every stage you beat, your level will rise up, therefore, you will play fast and smart at once, in order to win.
.VS. Mode: A mode where you can play against a computer or another player. Both players can choose up to 9 traps to take into battle, but the traps must come from their profile. If a trap is activate, it will take effect after the opponent bring a block down. Win 2 out of 3 rounds to win the battle.
Practice Mode: A mode where you just play tetris without traps. You can't raise your level this way.
Marathon Mode: Same as Story mode, but your level won't rise and you can select the traps you want to be attack with.
Training Mode: A mode where a trap will be set on you every time you make a line, a floor trap is activated; two lines, a side trap is activated; three lines, a ceiling trap; and four lines, all traps are activated and upgraded on next lines.
