Learn Game Programming
DeVry's Game and Simulation Programming curriculum will prepare you for taking on various development roles in the game industry.
Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.

Imagine SimCity, and you see it grow and expand. Wouldn't it be great if you had something to do with the expansion and growth? Wouldn't it be great if you were the person / business that sparked the growth?

We have a few business sim games before but none like this. Just like SimCity, the city starts with Industrial areas. You can decide whether you want to start as a farmer, or small industry or a property developer if you have the money. Earn your money as the city grows and expand or sell your business and start new ones according to the needs. As the city grows, the selling price of your business grows too.

You have more freedom and opportunities for the businesses. For example you can be a factory owner and choose what products you want to produce. (when city first starts you may produce doors, whilst later computers, etc.) You can even own the bus company and build the routes. Compete with computer A.I. for good locations for your businesses when the SimCity open new areas. Petition for the mayor to open links with the neighbouring cities.

If the game wants to be more complex, you can even set up illegal businesses like brothels (by the docks), underground casino (if the mayor doesnt approve the gambling ordinance), etc. Live life like a mobster!

Each time you play it, it can be vastly different. Comments please.

Yes, in a way it can be an online simcity where businesses can compete against each other to make money, gain power and status. Would be fun, but might be too complex and too long to play for an online game. But still against A.I. would make it fun.

How about its an online simcity. First there is city created online. As a "enterpreneur" you can decide in wich city you go. And other players online could also invest in the cities. Therefor, the cities would be occupied of many players companies. They could do trading businness, deals, compete, call for the mobster to blow the other factory... A single player mode could still be interesting (mostly for newbies who would like to understand the game before enterring the "real" world). The Economy would be really interesting to devellop, as there would always be some big and small companies.
