Learn Game Programming
DeVry's Game and Simulation Programming curriculum will prepare you for taking on various development roles in the game industry.
Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.
This started out as a crazy idea but I think it has the potential to become a pretty good game. That’s why I hope you guys can help me out and give me some comments and suggestions.
STORY:
You are the owner of a small printing company so you start out printing newsletters, low-readership newspapers, etc. You will have to grow the company by of course getting more money and more business. There would be plenty of scenarios to play.
GAMEPLAY:
You have many ways of expanding your business. Of course you can print different of products, e.g. magazines, newspaper, books, posters, etc. You can expand further by purchasing newsstands to sell your products only.
But to further enhance your business choices, there are a few tricks you can do to build up sales.
- Magazines: You can print magazines, get the most famous models (of course their fees are higher) to boost sales
- Newspapers: You can be a tabloid newspaper and sending out your reporters to get weird stories. You can also employ paparazzi to take photos of famous people. Even better is you can send a team out there to “create” news. Buy the best vans, helicopters, hire the best team to get the news first.
Of course you will face with competition and you will have to deal with them by either crushing them or buy them out.
Comments and suggestions please.
